The staff was very professional and courteous when we went in for an oil change. They got us right in for our scheduled appointment. This was from our first appointment for an oil change.
We came back for our second oil change. Again the service managers were very professional and the the oil change was done in a timely manner. After the oil change, the technician reported that our rear shocks were leaking oil and needed to be replaced. Also, the oil pan gasket was leaking and should be serviced sooner rather than later. The total for the two repairs was going to be about $1000. I recommend always getting a second opinion when a shop tells you something is wrong that you aren't able to confirm. The car was due for a tire rotation, so we took it to Firestone (Fashion Valley). While they had the car, we mentioned the two items and had them diagnose the issue. The rear shocks were leaking and should be replaced. The only issue with the leaking oil pan, was that the drain plug was missing it's gasket. The diagnoses cost $24 plus $63 for another oil change that had to be done when they pulled the drain plug. I went back to Dragonfly to ask why their technician had said that the oil pan seal needed to be replaced, when only the drain plug gasket was missing. Luis was very helpful and had a technician raise the car up, remove the access panel, and inspected the oil pan. There was no leak, only residue from where it was leaking around the drain plug (which was fixed by Firestone). The explanation was that maybe the technician was only looking through the small hole in the access panel that gives them access to the drain plug. He saw the oil around the bottom of the pan and thought that the pan gasket needed replacing. Two things wrong with this. If they are going to tell me that I need to spend $500 on a repair, he should have taken the 5 minutes to remove the panel to make sure. The second thing is what happened to the rubber seal on the drain plug? They are the only shop for the last two oil changes to remove the drain plug.

Read moreTook it in because my brake skipped when you would press on them slightly. Had code pop up and go away! They told me no charge to run the codes! Or $220 to run a full brake diagnostic! Told them to check it correctly.
Was told they could not get codes.
That the brakes, routers, and a fluid should be flushed out.
Spark plugs and air filters!!
Was charged $2500!
And the main reason why I took it in was absolutely ignored.
My brake still jump! The noise is still there when you press on the brakes!
And now I hear an additional knocking noise when I press on the brakes.
What upsets me the most is! Got the vehicle this morning And within hours I had the same issues. Was it not tested???
Never going back to this place! The main reason was ignored
Update: Dan did reach out to me! That staff is polite, they probably my give great service. However, they did a terrible job on my end.
No i will not take it back! Please dont text me getting political about the reasoning of my review.
Dan text to tell me he deserve a second opportunity to alleviate my concern. Sent me the full inspection, which wasn't given to me the following day.
Stated my tires are bad! That comment really upset me! Why? Tell me they did not test the vehicle. They are not aware of what type of skipping the brake were doing when you would apply them. How is it going to be the wheel if the wheels are not even rotating 360. The brake are skipping from a catch and go..when you apply the brake. As you slightly release. And the ABS should apply. They dont! They skip
During this skip you hear a hizzing sound. The sound is louder when when brakes are fully press.
No its not normal because the vehicle never made that sound. And now it does.
Did you inspect the brake pump? Did you inspect the other parts. You all just when straight to over charging me for preventive maintenance.
It fine the vehicle need the parts but its not the reason why I went!
No i will not return And the vehicle will head to the dealer once i recover...
Read moreI was really pleased with the service I received at Dragonfly. My first experience with an independent
auto repair facility; so I was hesitant about having an expensive automobile away from a brand
dealership. The location is clean and the service mgr. Tom was easy to ask questions about my service need. I made an online appointment and it was confirmed promptly. At Dragonfly I had a full synthetic oil change and filter at a fair price lower than brand dealers are charging. The service company is in an industrial area near a main highway with easy access. I was in and out of the facility within a half hour. I inquired about a transmission drain service and got a fair quote. I will return to this service facility in the near future.
7/13/2022 This is the third year I have been using Dragonfly Auto. I keep coming back because of the excellent service and fair pricing. I made an appointment and arrived on time. They took my car in right away. I had a full synthetic oil change, and a coolant flush. My milage is just over 129.000 mileage and service was due. Service Mgr. Tom is easy to talk too, and he will be patient to explain future service needs. The shop is clean and seems organized. The waiting room is comfortable and the managers are close enough to hear how other people are treated on the phones. I drove past a Toyota dealer on my way to Dragonfly for service. You get all the dealer expertise at Dragonfly while being treated honestly and politely....
