Arrived at 12:15 to donate a car load of goods. Read the signs in my photo. Why are they closed for donations at 12:15 when the middle sign clearly says they accept donations until 1pm? I guess you could take your chances going there to donate, but you're probably better off just giving to neighbors or your local Buy Nothing group. It sucks to take time out of your day, drive all the way there using $$$$ gas, to give them free product to sell, only to meet with conflicting information that doesn't match what's on their website. And forget trying to donate to Goodwill down the street. They just randomly choose days and times to accept donations and you can’t get that information from their website or automated phone tree. Went their first after checking their website- same thing- closed for donations even though it was during normal donation hours/days. Now what am I supposed to do with all this stuff in my car?

This is a medium-sized thrift store in Hillcrest. The woman and the security guard working here were both friendly. There was a mix of things here such as clothing, furniture, kitchen ware, books, and music, but a lot of things here were dusty and older (the clothing was a little newer though). It's good to have thrift stores around, but I didn't see anything here that piqued my interest.

Thank you to the lady for giving me a discount to figure out what this bundle of yarn was! Turns out to be a beautiful piece in our home 😊

I was out thrifting today. This was my fourth thrift store stop on University, was excited to walk in. They had some small furniture pieces I was interested in that were in the window, I even noticed a large dresser that I might be interested in purchasing as I entered. They have a security guard at the door. I have my canvas tote that i take everywhere. I had been in multiple shops today without issue. All my personal items are in it and a bottle of water. I have even taken this tote into this thrift shop on multiple occasions. But for some reason today the security guard wants me to check it at the counter. No not only are you causing me anxiety as I’m separated from critical items but why me and why tote bag??? if they don’t trust me to shop how can I trust them with my belongings at a counter by the door. For an organization connected to such an esteemed charity, this highly disappointing and I will...

Note: This is a review of the donation pick up only and not the thrift store. About a month ago I set up an online appointment to have some patio and office furniture picked up from our apartment. We never got a confirmation of the appt. and made 2 cancellations for the date of pick up because we weren't going to be available on that date. To our surprise the truck showed up anyway. *If you do live upstairs you will be required to bring all donated items down to the street. The drivers & crew were REALLY helpful (I have a bad back and can't move heavy objects well at all) and took care of everything really fast. They were also very kind about it too. So, 4 stars for the good service, -1 star for the lack of communication in the appointment/cancellation process/no...
