I came to this location because the one at gateway center driyet gateway center drive was way too crowded and moves weight too slow however this 1 had A-line 1st thing Saturday morning and that took 20 minutes to get through and I still think not be the same amount of time for less cars at the gateway center drive location so credit to this location however however it must be mentioned that Costco could definitely run this location 24 hours A-day At least for their executive members ESPECIALLY seeing as it is cashless and they offer no services or even AIR ! I'm again proud of the ground workers buy disappointed in the disconnect of the Corporate management that allows the mistakes of the kind that hurt their brand and their bottomline when they could just BE OPEN LONGER! Hire a 2nd SHIFT! HOW ABOUT THIS FREE ADVICE THAT COULD BE A EASY WIN FOR SOME TIE: EXTENDED HOURS FOR EXECUTIVE MEMBERS.

There are so many businesses in this center that it is the most hectic parking area parking lot that I've parked at in a very long time. They do have family parking spots I guess so for those of you with children I assume that is what it's for. There's a Lowe's in here ikea intensive other little shops and stores but again like I said the parking lot is a nightmare to get into especially if you turn before Fenton street you will wait in the land of the light for a very long time. Some of the stores in here are cool and I will write them individually as I go to them but overall the parking is atrocious there's a tent of people that make sure you watch for people walking across the street and you'll have next to no parking by the Costco or also next to no parking over by Lowe's there will be parking closer to ikea.

It's a confusing business that has a cult following. I don't think it's bad quality, it's fun to put together but purchasing is a pain. My story is, I went to the store, they didn't have my boxes at their warehouse, drove to another warehouse, found out the boxes were too big for my truck, they recommended hiring a third party instead of them, I did and waited maybe 3 days waiting for gig workers on some app startup. I gotta say, if you're going to do Ikea, just go to the store for window shopping and buy everything online with free delivery. Lesson learned. Hope someone finds this helpful. Good product bad commerce model.

The reason that gasoline is so expensive in San Diego, is because it travells long distances by tanker ships and is unloaded into the Long Beach harbours; it's then pumped through huge sea pipes and into immensely large - on land -gasoline storage tanks. Then gasoline double tanker trucks have to truck it to San Diego, a desert city with very little of it's own resources and thus the price doubles to about $4.00+ a gallon for premium; lower for other grades yet, not less than about $3.50 a gallon. Thus, you can expect to pay over $50 to fill your tank. If you would like to get your fuel for much less, try Costco however, one must buy a yearly membership in order to shop there. Costco is the best place to shop in San Diego yet, one must purchase some foods there in bulk; small amounts that usually include one to as many as two to six of each item, depending upon what you purchase. Their Kirkland brand, from which you can buy clothing, shoes and myriad other Costco items, offers you steep discounts that are well worth it and Kirkland is highly rated because of it's high quality products. Costco also has a nice outside food court for customers only. Since I haven't owned an automobile for 21 years I wouldn't really know much about them yet, it would nice to own a small Honda or Toyota hybrid; Costco also sells deeply discounted new automobiles. What is happening now was one of the many dreams and goals of my generation. Many of us wanted to "change the world" however, most of us never succeeded and the new generations must now bear the burdens that the majority of our world still ignores. In Texas,Arkansas, etc.,etc.,etc, gasoline costs range from around $1.99 and to maybe $2.99 a gallon because millions of barrels of oil are pumped daily out of the Gulf of Mexico and much is refined in Texas and several other coastal Gulf states (Do any of you remember what happened decades ago when a Derrick "crashed" during a hurricane and the oil polluted/ruined most of our Gulf coast beaches and drove myriad businesses into ruin?). Costco gasoline gasoline is far cheaper than anyplace within San Diego County. There are many other wonderful stores within the Fenton Marketplace: LOWES has myriad different home use products that are especially designed for home, condo or townhouse use and IKEA has many unique and different products from all over the world. You can get lost shopping at IKEA, if you don't remember to follow the arrows on their floor, which will lead you to many different/various departments with some unique items. There are a few excellent small restaurants and other small businesses at the west side of this marketplace however, COVID-19 has nearly put them all out of business; you can still order food, etc., from them on an order/pickup or delivery basis. "You can always get what you want, at Fenton Marketplace". Try my Costco reviews for more information about Fenton Marketplace.✌😻 NOTE: I don't know the current status of the coronavirus, therefore this review may change from time to time however "time waits for no one and it won't wait for me!" Costco and Ikea are fun. Lowe's is is almost always low on helpful staff. We still choose Lowe's most of the time. Our local Home Depot's manager pressured us out of their way so he could use their forklift think to load a refrigerator above the one that we were looking to buy. I called him out and he became even more rude. I attempted to explain to his employee that you never ever prioritize stocking a shelf over a customer. Period. Apparently this is how little Home Depot actually values their customers. This same "manager" also neglects to teach his staff that they should never refer to the company they work for as theirs. For example, "excuse me, would you mind telling us where the refrigerators are?" Employee response "I don't have many in stock right now". This is inappropriate. The correct response is something similar to "let me show you where they are, hopefully we have what you are looking for". The employee that Home Depot neglected to properly train was also blocking the entrance to the garden department, talking to another employee. We asked about the refridgerators to get his attention so that we could get his attention to pass. This review was made during covid. He didn't care whatsoever so we didn't even get the hummingbird feeder. We were literally forced out of the store, so the "manager" could stock his shelf. So regarding Lowe's, we choose Lowe's over Home Depot. I think this is what happens when corporate executives take inappropriately large salaries. It's the customers that pay the price. Home Depot had the refrigerator we wanted even. They lost a sale and now the good customers of San Diego are warned. This is what you get when you're a corporation that surfs the line between customer care/dissatisfaction and profit. You don't last long. How very junk food, immediate gratification. How very new American. I am not buying it. Idiocracy was a warning, not a goal. If American corporations don't stop being greedy, it will be our nations downfall. We should all be pushing upward at our employers. They are the reason for all of our lower quality of life. Being upper management in a large corporation used to be something to be proud about. Like the word doctor, it's now a capacity of shame, not worthy of merit or respect. A badge of greed and cowardice. My name is Mindy Kuhle. You'll see how right I am. I'm old school. I come from a time when intelligence existed. Please listen to me. You'll likely hear my name again. I think you'll be very glad that I am on the side of the poor, the differently abled and the people and entities that are fair, correct, truly exceptional and the people..all people except the predatory. About sums it up. Thank you...

I recently had an unfortunate experience at the Costco Tire Center on Fenton Parkway, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts to help potential customers make informed decisions.

I tried calling the Tire Center on February 1st multiple times for over 30 minutes without success. After getting frustrated, I reached out to Costco's customer service. The manager was incredibly helpful, taking my name and number and attempting to reach out to the Tire Center on my behalf. However, it's disheartening that it took a manager's intervention to connect with the service team.

Upon arriving at the tire center on Feb 2nd for my appointment, I noticed there was a significant line. While I understand that wait times can happen, it was clear to me that more staff was needed, as only one employee was managing the volume of customers. After a lengthy wait, I finally approached the counter, and that’s where my frustrations truly began.

As soon as I began explaining my situation, I was cut off and directed to provide information about my vehicle without any consideration for my concerns. The tone and approach of the employee, Travis A., felt condescending and disrespectful, as I was abruptly ordered around rather than engaged as a customer. This kind of treatment is not what I expect from Costco, a retailer typically known for its excellent customer service.

When I asked if my tires had been rotated during my last visit, I was interrupted once more, which only added to my frustration. Despite my attempts to clarify my question, Travis dismissed my concerns and insisted I hadn't requested the service previously, which I knew to be incorrect but had no way to prove. This lack of respect and disregard for my questions is unacceptable.

Even if the environment is busy, employees should engage with customers respectfully and acknowledge their concerns. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case during my visit, which left me feeling like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer.

While I haven’t yet picked up my vehicle, I sincerely hope that the rest of the experience improves. However, given what I’ve experienced so far, I will seriously consider taking my business elsewhere when it comes time for new tires. In conclusion, the lack of professionalism and regard for customers I encountered makes me wary of returning, and I would rather pay more elsewhere for a...
