I HATE leaving bad reviews for businesses but the male nail tech who made me cry didnt hate what he did to me when I got my nails done.

On Friday April 19th, I got a pedicure and dip nails done here. Pedicure was great but the man who started my nails was terribly rude, aggressive and made me cry. To preface, I don’t know the name of the male nail tech I had. I usually get square nails with a little bit of a coffin at any nail place. I attempted to show a picture to the man doing my nails but there must of been a miscommunication where he didn’t see that I was showing him a picture and only heard me say coffin. He shaped my nails short, and extremely coffined so I told him in a very respectful way that wasn’t the shape I wanted on the hand he finished. It looked nothing like I wanted. He brushed it off and started the other hand so I reminded him that this wasn’t the shape I wanted. He proceeded to get mad at me and started yelling at me in front of a full salon. He was hitting his nail file in his hand at me, hitting the chair next to me over, and over again as he was yelling “you said coffin!” And I tried explaining that I wanted the picture + coffin. He continued to hit the nail file in my direction asking what I wanted to do and I suggested we could add some tips and shape them correctly. He still kept slapping his nail file then started yelling and THREATENING me that he was going to pull up video footage to prove I didn’t tell him that shape. I was in tears because this man was being so mean and it was so embarrassing. Then I said I was leaving and would pay for my pedicure. He got more mad and yelled again. I felt like he wanted to physically hit me for how aggressive he was and slapping his nail file at me.

Finally the man at the front desk stepped in as I am in tears and Tina took over. She was so sweet and kind. Easily fixed my nails and was so reassuring.

The salon only took off $5 and gave me free chrome. I feel like I deserved more but thats not what I am trying to get at with this. That experience was so traumatic and I will sadly never return. I had people asking me if I was okay because they witnessed all of it. I worked hard to save my money and do this for myself and I left never wanting to return somewhere to get my nails done.

Tina is phenomenal and I highly recommend her. She really is so kind and the man at the front was kind to me. But other than that, do not go to that man. He should not return to work there. As someone who works in customer service, I would NEVER make a customer...

Amazing! I do my laundry next store to this salon. I noticed a few months ago it had changed and was completely remodeled. I used to go to the ivy salon for years but in the last couple years I feel their customer service is completely declined. Their store is extremely filthy and being a regular you think they'd be nice but they have so many people going in there all the time that they really don't care whether you come back or not that's how I felt so I quit going about 6 months ago. And the way they act in there I'm sure they haven't even noticed that I'm gone even though I've been there client for over 5 years. Needless to say I've been doing my own nail since then. Yesterday October 1st 2022, while doing laundry I thought Well let me check out this Four Seasons out. When walking into the Four Seasons nail salon I was completely blown away by #1. the cleanliness #2. the upscale brand new equipment that they use in there and #3. the gentleman who greeted me was fabulous. He was so friendly immediately attended to me told me there would be a wait was extremely friendly about the weight and at the deadline of the wait immediately sat me down in the newest technology massage pedicure chair and offered me cold fresh bottled water. Even though there was a bit of a wait they make you feel like it's okay to wait It's not a burden to wait there. You're not forgotten about while waiting you're catered to while waiting. Also looking up I noticed two brand new flat screen TVs One playing ambience acoustic guitar the other had a crystal clear video of under the ocean playing with sea turtles and fish It was the most peaceful relaxing clean friendly environment I have been in in a long time. To top it off they will offer you a glass of wine complimentary if you would like I did not accept I took the water. When I left and paid with tip I spent around $15 to $20 less than my old salon. My sister recommended this spot and was raving about how amazing her experience was so I had to give it a try. First of all, from the moment I walked in, I knew I was in a good place. Everyone was really sweet —greeting me and also welcomed my puppy. The space is clean, music is calm, and it did not smell so strongly of chemicals which was a huge plus since sometimes that can impact your relaxation esp if you’re more sensitive to smells. I asked for a gel x removal and gel manicure. DAVID helped me today and I just wanna say thank you so much, David! You’re very kind from start to finish and very meticulous with what you do! I explained that I have a sensitive nail because of some trauma that I had in that area a year ago and he made sure to always check in when he was removing my old gel X in case I was in any pain. The same nail had split vertically before I got to the nail salon but he was able to add some binder to patch the split making my nail good as new! He was very gentle in his practice which I feel makes a person’s experience because some nail techs can be quite rough and quick but leave you with some cuts here and there. David and his colleague helped me choose a color when my initial color wasn’t available. They were so patient and told me not to rush when choosing which I appreciated greatly! My manicure came out PERFECT and on top of that I had a relaxing experience getting my nails done which hadn’t been the case until today. (Huge PLUS was the hand massage which David did not speed through)! I don’t normally feel the need to write a review but I feel like this spot and the people who work here deserve the praise! I can’t wait to come back for a pedicure next time! My dog also thanks you for the treats! Overall giving this spot 5 stars for cleanliness, quality, service, and price! $45 for my entire visit!
