On the coffee shop scene of hip, hawt and happenin', Java Earth is as hot and fresh and inventive as their stand-out Honey Vanilla Latte and star Veggie Bagel!!

This spot hits the zeitgeist of coffee-lover's' dreams, so aptly located in the heart of San Diego's surfer-cool, sleepy beach town jewel Pacific Beach. Outdoor seating, backed by wooden panels housing succulents and mini shrubs frame a steady stream of cars that zip by, giving this shop part of it's easy, urban vacation vibe.

There's plenty of outdoor seating here, with a litany of umbrellas that keep this place feeling cozy and offers sun-protection.

The inside is both spare and stylish, with wooden slats, open space, a wall of trendy, decorative swag, art in it's own right, and the most attentive and accommodating of barristas who know their product, and serve it hot, fresh and sweeet.

The honey-vanilla latte and chunky-monkey smoothie were superb!!

I loved the richness of my smoothie, with peanut butter, chocolate and milk all blended together for a "chunky", rich drink, served with flavor and tasteful flair!! This coffee-creation is art!! The components are easily and instantly recognizable and complement each other so seamlessly!

My Honey'd drink was bold and so flavorful, the honey'd notes really stood out. Such a unique and delicious drink!!

San Diego, Pacific Beach' Java Earth is perfectly named and this coffee joint is a brand unto itself!! It hits every note of homey, Mother-Earth-lovin', stylish, urban cool. Such a cute spot that excels in tastefully crafted premium coffee. Stop by and join in...

I’m a postmates driver who accepted an order from here and it was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The level of entitlement of the guy running this place was insane. HE accidentally gave both orders to another driver & then told me off incredibly rudely as if I was trying to swindle him for a f’n breakfast sandwich and had the audacity to tell me too bad he wasn’t going to make another because “i can’t make 2 sandwiches if I already gave one to some one else I’d lose money” like I didn’t just drive my own dam car to his Super Hip cafe to have some idiot blame me for his own failures. It is not my fault that YOU didnt verify your orders with the last delivery person. I’m sure the foods good but for the love of god dudes like this need to get a fkn life, I’m just trying to earn enough money so I have gas to drive up to my uncles house for thanksgiving...

Best in PB for deck space and internet speeds alone. I've been working on the road and found this spot to be the best in PB for me. They have a few outdoor outlets and at least one indoors. The tables indoors are stable and the staff is always really kind. I got on more than one occasion an Americano, one of their smoothies (can't remember which), a cali bowl, and socal burrito. All good. I love most all the local vibe. It isn't uncommon to see several families, a few young twenty or thirty professionals, and some older guys all kicking it with their dogs having their morning coffee talking life. Its a scene that I think reflects the attitudes of this community. I love it.

I'll be through again for sure. You put a couch in there, even wicker, oh boy that'd check...

Really great coffee and a really nice food selection. This place is great for a nice brunch or chat with friends. I LOVE their vegan rice bowl - the avocado dressing is super dope. The overnight oats are really good, too, although they often run out. The vibe here is always really nice and the outdoor patio always gets plenty of sun. The staff are always super young, so quality of service is always a bit mixed, but they’re never rude and always friendly. I highly recommend this place as a go to option for fantastic coffee and healthy, good food. My only complaint is that I wish they were open later in the day 🙂

I don't understand the positive reviews. I got an ice coffee and the socal breakfast burrito. The coffee, as pictured, has bits of something in it. It looks like they tried to mix powdered creamer in or something? The coffee flavor otherwise is not worth the price. The breakfast burrito was bland. There was no salt or pepper in any portion of any of the food items in that burrito except the sausage. Had I mistakenly chosen one of the other meats, I'm sure there'd be no salt there either. The salsa that came with it didn't even have salt. Salt your eggs. Salt your hash browns.
