This is a small time market that seconds as a "deli". It was a disorganized and time consuming sandwich offering experience. If your on your lunch break be ready to hoover your meal on the rush back to work.

The staff is super rude. Well not the butcher's and sandwich makers. The food stocker was a rude *$#@&. Because the deli offers no established organization I was by the chips that he was ready to restock. When I offered to move out of his way he didn't thank me or say excuse me. It cost you zero to have manners.

The cashier didn't greet us (hello???) or thank us. He just gave us a dirty look. Don't waste your time here. If you read my reviews I am honest but fair. I'll give you props if they are deserved.

Let's talk about the "Cubano" sandwich. This may impress the neighborhood but you can't even take the time to put it on the plancha? (Google it). And if you invested in a plancha, then use it.

I would venture to say that the 2 unhappy, miserable employees that ruined this recommended experience are management or owners. Because they gave us some dirty, entitled looks. Don't waste your time people. There are so many food options...

This review is being a 1ST TIME customer. As I have not yet gone as far as looking at the food items & prices. First I began in wanting to look at the visual description of store; but more than structure be shown. WHAT SCARE ME === the grocery images. (thanks for showing them, as the images reveal the truth) The images reveal the EXCESSIVE inventory. Of overstocked, shelved grocery items. Such an inventory COST$ to supply in any business. Even more, for when such remaining items on shelf do not sell. As A LOT of those seen, stocked items are HIGH end items. Not low cost items. A private business to sell such will co$t more, than a big name store.

I WILL be more interested to see what meats are avail here, that other delis don't have; and/or don't have the similar taste within their/other deli meats.

So after my above: I went on internet, to "Seisel's Deli | Iowa Meat Farms" --- I found a "Sandwich Menu" containing what sandwich I prefer. BUT NO PRICES are on "Sandwich Menu"; as a menu be for the reason of pricing to...

DON'T LET THEM SEASON YOUR FOOD.

The beef they sale is amazing all it needs in salt n pepper.

I had 1 bad experience coming here recently with one of the employees there who couldn't speak good english. He insisted on seasoning our Prime NY Strips even though WE TOLD HIM NOT TOO!!!!!!!!!! We didn't discover this till we got home..... Honestly he ruined all our steaks by not listening to us well enough. We spent $150 that night. The beef tasted amazing just the seasoning the guy put on it was WAY TOO SALTY.

So do yourself a favor make it very clear to the employees NOT to season your beef.

For now on I will never go though that employee again. I'll just ask someone else who can speak n understand english better to help me out.

Stop hiring people who can't speak or understand English.

I'm still giving them a 5 star because this is the only issue I ever had here. The beef is amazing quality and it melt in your...

Top quality meat! My boyfriend got me into going to this place for all of our fresh cooked meats. From tri-tips, to ribeye, to pork chops, even to premarinated chicken wings. Honestly the quality is uncomparable. In the price is very fair! It is a no-brainer to go here versus your standard grocery store, even costco. You're going to get high quality meat for the best price. They offer a large range of meats that are non-seasoned and premarinated. We like to change it up and sometimes by the non-marinated and sometimes the premarinated. I have many favorites! The Hawaiian tri-tip, the Korean chicken wings, and most recently the Sriracha pork chops. Highly recommend this place for all of your Butcher and meat shopping needs. Also the staff is super friendly and super knowledgeable. I've gone here a few times by myself to pick out meat and the staff was really helpful to explain the different options to me.

My husband and I definitely prefer purchasing meats in a butcher store than at supermarkets. Siesel’s and Iowa Meats are the places to go. They are sister stores. Iowa is near Mission Valley which we went a lot in our old neighborhood. Both of them are great. I love eating “unusual meats” and I prefer meats with bones. Yes, I’m Asian, I love fatty and juicy meats. Chicken breast is just not my thing. So we get a lot of beef chicks, duck legs, oxtails as well as ribs, bone in ribeye & New York.... even Wagyu at Siesel’s and Iowa meats. The meats quality is a hundred percent great. They also curate great bbq sauce and seasonings. I also get some cheeses or Julian Pie from there. The only thing I prefer shopping at other places are vegetables, which are a little overpriced there. But it’s convenient to bring some to go with meats if you don’t need a lot of vegetables.

Great place with a great crew that runs the shop. They have it all, whether you are looking for Choice, Prime, or Dry Aged cuts they have them all. They also have a good poultry and pork section too. They are extremely helpful and informative about how to properly prepare and cook anything they sell. Good Deli and Sandwiches too. The other side of the shop is grocery section with sauces, marinades, and rubs...As well as fresh produce. They also have a frozen section with exotic game meats (Ox Tails, Wild Boar, etc.) Still the same great place...great people and great fresh food. Of you get a chance grab a sandwich from the deli
