I originally found Stephanie’s Cavi Lipo Spa through Groupon and reached out via the personal number listed to inquire about a waxing appointment. After introducing myself and discussing availability, I realized I needed to push my appointment back. Stephanie informed me there were no other time slots available that day but suggested Monday or Tuesday.
When I asked for Monday’s availability, she specifically responded with 9 AM and then followed up with a screenshot of a calendar displaying multiple times from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, along with a “custom time” button. Since the calendar itself appeared empty and only showed buttons at the bottom, I wasn’t sure if those were actual open slots. I politely asked if she could fit me in at 12 PM, to which she rudely responded, “Do you not see the schedule?”
As a customer, how was I supposed to know how her booking system worked? She never clarified that those were open slots or how her scheduling functioned. I found her response extremely unprofessional, so I chose not to engage further.
Later that day, she continued to send multiple texts suggesting other dates and times, but I decided not to proceed with the appointment. The next day, I received a message stating that since I “did not show up,” I owed a $50 cancellation fee—despite never confirming or agreeing to an appointment. Less than an hour later, she sent the same text again.
It’s worth noting that she only had my name and phone number, yet she attempted to enforce a sketchy and unwarranted cancellation fee. This experience reflects poor customer service and questionable business practices. I would not recommend booking with Stephanie’s Cavi Lipo Spa, as the lack of professionalism and misleading scheduling process make for a frustrating and...
Read moreDisappointed. I found them on groupon and was so excited to see they had cryolipolysis. I reached out to the number on the website as it says to do for my initial consult for cryolipolysis. She schedule me the next day which was amazing. I received my confirmation text and I was super pleased with the responsiveness and that they could get me is so quickly. Parking was easy and I arrived on time. The receptionist was really nice, but started asking who I booked the appointment with and seemed puzzled by my appearance. When I told her the number on the website was who I contacted, she seemed confused by it all and had no idea who's number it was (I have no idea who I was speaking to by text, but it's clearly the contact number on the site). Then she proceeded to tell me the technician wasn't there and wouldn't' arrive until after 12 pm. I was given no real solution- just oops so sorry. I had driven 30 minutes on my day off only to be told in person that no one was there to see me. You can imagine my frustration as I had been confirmed and I had just spoken to someone that day before. If I had been called to be told there was no tech I would most likely have just rescheduled. I was called by management to be offered a free session, but I don't do/give business with a business that can't keep a basic commitment and has poor communication. It pains me as I prefer to go to small business, but I have to be honest so that hopefully next time you do better. I would really work on your communication between staff and customers. Also if you do make an error- the staff should know to offer some sort of solution to the issue....not just a shrug and yeah get your...
Read moreI discovered this spa through a Groupon deal that offered three massages with cupping and also a facial offer, and unfortunately, I was left feeling disappointed with the overall service.
Stephanie, the owner, was the one who performed my massages with cupping. During the first session, my massage was supposed to be 50 minutes but only lasted 40 minutes. In the second session, Stephanie was very talkative, sharing details about her future vacation plans, which made it difficult for me to relax. By the third session, she left me with the cupping for the last 15 minutes and didn’t complete a full body massage, which I felt was an opportunity missed.
Another issue I had was that every time I went, she asked if it was my first visit. I visited the spa for four consecutive weeks, and this felt impersonal. As a returning guest, it would have been nice for her to recognize me and remember my previous visits.
I also had a facial with an esthetician, who was a pleasant person, but unfortunately, I didn’t feel satisfied with the treatment. She seemed rushed throughout the session, applying products quickly and slamming the door every time she came in and out of the room. It wasn’t the relaxing experience I was hoping for. I’ve had many HydraFacial treatments before, and this one didn’t live up to the standard. The esthetician didn’t take enough time with the HydraFacial pen to properly clean my pores, and as a result, my skin didn’t feel refreshed or glowing afterward. I still had blackheads, and overall, the experience didn’t meet my expectations. The original cost for the facial was $350, but unfortunately, I don't feel it was...
