Don't waste your time at this store. Terrible customer service! I came in to trade my old phone for a new phone a month ago and the associate (Christian) said oh you can get a free watch for only $10 more a month. My normal bill is $87 a month. So I said okay well I don't have time to do it today. Can I come back tomorrow. He said yes. So. I made an appointment. I came all the way back there the next day to discover that they don't even have my phone in stock. So I waited a couple of weeks for my new phone to come in. When I went there to get it we talked about the watch and I said why am I getting a bill for $111? Oh he said it's $15 more a month. Then I asked what the bill would be if I don't get the watch. He said it would be the same. I asked, the same as I'm paying now? He said yes. So I agreed. When he had me sign his tablet for the phone, he never informed me that I was signing an installment agreement for $22 more a month. I discovered it later when I got an email from Verizon. Fast forward 30 days. I go to the store today to turn in my old phone. The door was locked and the associate inside was looking at me like I'm crazy. Like I don't know how to open a door. He finally gets up to open the door and said the alarm isn't working. I told him I wanted to talk to a manager and I wasn't happy with the service that I received initially. The manager was on vacation. I started to tell him about my negative experience and he said he didn't want to hear any negativity and that he would just ignore it. I told him my issues anyway and stressed the fact that they need to train their employees better. He became more and more rude, rolling his eyes. Told me I was being rude. Seriously?!!! Voicing my unpleasant experience is not being rude, its being assertive. Wish I would have gotten his name. But he just looks angry. What a jerk!! He says he knocked $20 off my bill. I'm waiting to see if that's really going to happen. I was so irritated with him that I called him a jerk and stormed out of there. Very unhappy with the customer service there!!! Update: The associate that I encountered last said he knocked twenty dollars off my bill. But he didn't say how. Now I'm realizing that he removed the mobile protect feature without my knowledge or authorization. He also changed my plan without my knowledge and authorization....
Read moreLast Friday, August 12, 2022, I visited this store in order to purchase a new Iphone 13 pro max. Within 30 minutes I left the store with absolutely nothing and $160 out of my pocket due to some incredibly disappointing sales tactics.
I had no intention whatsoever of buying anything outside of this Iphone. When the sales representative (Edward) told me that the amount I had to pay came out to $284.17, I asked him what I was paying for. He lied directly to my face and told me I was paying for taxes on the phone along with some setup fees. However, once I paid, I started noticing some weird behavior where he started attaching accessories to my phone. I asked him why he was doing that, and was told that everyone who gets a new Iphone here gets these accessories as well. As my suspicions grew, I asked if these accessories were free as I had not agreed to buy any of them. Now all of a sudden, Edward tells me that nothing is free and that I had agreed to it. I immediately realized what was going on, and demanded a full refund. However, I was told that there were no refunds on the accessories and the "setup fee", and was only refunded the tax on the phone.
$160 was stolen out of my pocket by this retailer. I have disputed the charges with my credit card company. I have also escalated the issue with Verizon and will further escalate it so that they take some action. Fortunately, I am capable enough to deal with this situation but I am taking these actions in order to protect those that would have fallen prey to Edward's malicious behavior while not knowing what to do about it. I am also considering pressing charges for theft, as I did not leave the store with any of the items that were supposedly nonrefundable. These items included a new iphone case, along with two phone screens. It blows my mind how Edward had the audacity to try to sneak not one but two new $50 screens onto my bill.
All in all I probably wasted at least 12 hours dealing with...
Read moreWhen 1st going into the store everything was cool. Kynin was very helpful. Or so I thought. I was turning in an iPhone SE. It was a promotion deal. If I
upgraded my data to unlimited and turned in my iPhone SE I would not have to pay for the new phone. Kynin confirmed this. Then stated that all I Had to do was pay taxes. He made it sound like the screen saver, the phone case and other items were going to be a deal. At the end he charged me retail price of 250.00. I then said I don't want those items now. He said I had to pay for them because it was part of the SET UP FEE. Set up is right he set me up. I get my Verizon bill 2 weeks later and I am being charged for the phone. So no promotion deal and they have my old phone. So he stole my old phone and lied to me. When I called Verizon they said I had to work it out with the store I bought the phone from because the I phone Se I turned in was not eligible for a promotion. I called Kynin 2 weeks ago and he said it was a mistake and he would take care of it and to call back in a couple of days. I called back 2 weeks later which was yesterday. A female answered and said he was busy. She told me it takes a couple billing cycles to catch up. I was never told this when I bought the phone. Probably another lie. I asked her to tell Kynin to call me back. He never did. These people are rip offs and liers. Stay away from this store. The good reviews they get are scammers. When we were originally in the store a supposedly previous customer called on one of their cells and was raving about how good they were and Kynin. They put the phone on speaker so all could hear. It was a total scam! BTW Kynin I'm going to share this review on FB and other platforms so everybody knows the true values that you really hold for...
