I like the variety of groceries/produce and other non-food goods at this location, as there is much more to choose from that is available in-store, not online!
The electronics department is larger along with sporting-goods in addition to menās apparel to identify a few.
The only area of improvement, would be to create more parking. Perhaps a multilevel parking structure would be something to look into.
Please continue to keep the BLUE flashing security lights in your parking lot!!! This helps immensely by keeping those unkempt suspicious Individuals wandering throughout the parking lot, which one would assume, is searching for the right opportunity to take something that does not belong to them.
The blue light prevents automobile vandalism as well as those who just sit in their car with their car engine running with totally tinted windows & no front license plate, However those cars do find a place that is not well lit and, they wait for the right opportunity to do most likely something they donāt wanna be caught doing⦠Unless theyāre just extremely shy or most unpleasant to look atā¦?
Iām sure that Tinted front windshield is not per California DMV at a max...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe aren't from the Area, so I am Comparing this Store to the One's I usually shop in Nevada! This Walmart's Isles are VERY Narrow, which was Very Surprising since CA. Was Still Stricter on Covid 19 Precautions! Yet that Walmart Was Much Really OVERCROWDED with the Shopping Area being So Narrow and Overloaded with LG. Stacks on Pallets of So Many Products it made it Very Difficult to Walk or Especially use a Handicap Scooter like I use! Even People with Canes or Walkers Were having Trouble getting through the Isles! Many Isles were Closed off in Odd Areas so You were Trapped in Areas adjacent to Main Isles, But had to Turn Around, (Very Hard For the Handicapped) forcing You Litterally Against Others before You can go to Any Open Isle. So Many Shelves were Empty or had Very Few items on them! We were here last September & the Shelves were the Same Way, Empty! At the Time I attributed to Covid & being difficult to get products, but Now I Don't believe that's the Issue! If NV. Walmarts have No trouble getting Products and having Clean Open Shopping, Why Does this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's very congested with traffic and pedestrians out in front of Wal-Mart. You have people parking/stopping to unload/load passengers in traffic lanes. Hard to go around them. They should not be doing it there. It's the only Wal-Mart I know of that needs an armed security guard standing out front of the store during business hours! I remember when Walker Scott store and Orange Julius š were there, and you parked under the stores. Kind of like underground parking. 1960-1970s. It was called College Grove shopping center. Another reviewer here mentioned the light up sign of a girl with baton. That used to be at the entrance of the College Drive-In Theater up on El Cajon Blvd. and College Avenue. It's a cheerleader neon sign that the public voted it to be saved as an iconic history piece when the drive-in was torn down. It was decided to be placed at this shopping mall rather than destroyed. Probably made in late 1950...
