Ye Olde Soap Shoppe — Local services in San Diego

I love this store! They have a huge selection of soaps, lotions, chap stick, and more. They have a ton of really cool glycerin-based soaps and vegan soaps too. Some really interesting stuff that's a little more quirky and individualized than what you'd find at a standard Body Shop or Bed & Bath Works. The employee Tamara was very helpful when I was in the store, and helped me select a gift for someone that ended up being a hit! She was really nice and knowledgeable. I LOVE this soap shop. It’s basically a strict tradition that we stop by every time when we are in San Diego. The employees are always attentive, informative, and friendly! The place is very quaint, and they have a MASSIVE selection of soap to the point that my brother spent a whole 2 hours looking at soap haha.

We also accidentally left some souvenirs in the shop and we didn’t realize until we were back home in Utah. But they were nice enough to ship the back to us immediately! (Along with another bar of eucalyptus licorice soap ;)

I had such a great experience in this small shop. I learned through talking to the incredibly friendly worker that it was a family owned shop for 29 years. We talked about family and school and I mentioned that I had 5 family members. Well to my surprise when I checked out she had a small gift waiting for each of my family members.
