We went out on a Salmon run with Captain and crew yesterday. The experience was great. We caught the biggest fish on board, a 27 lb King Salmon. We had most of the boat to ourselves because a large group cancelled last minute. The boat is very comfortable and there is plenty of room. Captain Rick and his wife are an absolute pleasure. They treated my fiance and son very well. My son got to sit in the Captain's chair and drive the boat. The Captain's wife, Nancy, offered to take pictures of us a couple of times as we went under the Golden Gate and with our catch. Jeff, the deckhand, is a very cool guy and definitely knows what he's doing. Jeff went around every 15-20 minutes and made sure that we had fresh bait on our lines, netted our fish perfectly, told us exactly what to do so that we wouldn't lose our catch due to the barbless hooks required for Salmon, and then gave us some amazing fillets of salmon that we took home with us. If you have a chance to take the Alcatraz tour that these guys offer, take it!! It's much more intimate in that you hear better, see better, and get just as much info if not more. The Captain and Roger do a great job. This was our second time in SF and we will be back, and will most likely take this cruise again with our son and his girlfriend. ...

This was a great boat tour to end our day. I definitely suggest going to the last boat tour of the day which is right before sunset.
