I am being generous with one star. I ordered flowers and the recipient received something completely different- less flowers and a different pot. Something that I could buy from Trader Joe's for about $18 to $19 and put together myself. I paid $100 for these flowers and then when I called the customer service, this rude woman named Kay told me that the flowers are not like a chair, they're perishable and I should have let them know sooner , so there's nothing that we can do after five days. While I understand there is a grace period for replacements, the circumstances did not allow since these were sent to someone who lost their spouse, so we did not reach out within 24 hours to ask how the flowers looked and if they received them. Once my daughter explained this to her she became a bit nicer and offered a discount for next time, which we will not be using. Why would I want to use this company for a. second time. Lastly, I asked to speak to someone above her regarding this manner and she snapped at me and said that person is her and that she will not put up with that behavior. When my daughter spoke to her, she mentioned that she would speak to a manager about a future discount- which clearly shows that there was someone above her that could've helped me. I work in retail and customer service and have for over 20 years- this is no way to speak...
Read moreFlowers by Coley not only failed to deliver the flowers on the date they were scheduled, they then made the ultimate delivery of the flowers a complete ordeal. They placed the blame on the third parties that they utilize (likely because they aren’t actually a local business but a chain with locations across California). The following day they again failed to follow the delivery instructions and arrived at a location where no one was present. When they did FINALLY delivery flowers - almost a week later - they contacted the wrong person (calling them persistently) and delivered the WRONG flowers. When a refund was requested they failed to refund the full amount claiming that they needed to retrieve the flowers - multiple days later - seeking to again place the burden on the customer to coordinate this. Moreover, they claimed the value of the items they sought to collect (which included chocolates - a food item that can’t be returned and reused as it was NOT hermetically sealed) to be the full retail price.
I would highly recommend using a reputable business in the SF area and not this chain with poor customer service that places the burden on...
Read moreDisappointed! First, due to the google ad that populates them first, i did not order from the facility that I normally order from (they are 5 star). I preordered flowers for my DIL birthday (weeks in advance), I had not gotten a notice that they were delivered to her, I called the day after the delivery only to have them state that they would have some once call me back, only asking if I had not already called my DIL to check to see if she got flowers (tacky) - they did and let me know that at 6.30ish in the evening they were delivered on the porch. NO idea if she received them directly. So I contacted my DIL only to receive a photo of flowers that are not near the colors depicted. They may be the same type of flower but defiantly not the same blush (read girly) flowers!!! URRGHHHHH… it is frustrating that you order from a photo, they have time to procure and produce and you get this. ...
