UPDATED to Respond to the Owner: Take your curated vintage elsewhere. I contacted this store a month ago. Buyer is gone so I have to wait.
In the meantime I send dozens of photos of the 90s T-shirts and vintage gear I'm working to find new homes.
I'm told to bring it all in.
A month later I go to the appointment but the buyer doesn't show up. She's off with a friend.
The person that ended up doing the purchasing was unprepared and was pretentious at best.
Out of the score of items I brought in they purchased three items.
I get that a vendor has the right to buy what they want. But keep your commitment. Show up when you make an appointment with someone. Don't waste their time and money.
That says Vacation completely wasted a month of my time. I spent $40 in Ubers bringing these items in at their request.
Do not sell to this vendor. They have no respect for you or your time.
And after it was all said and done the buyer never contacted me and said oh sorry I missed you.
That tells you volumes about who they are as people and as a store.
Response to the owner: I'm glad you responded to this review, you further illustrate my point. You take no ownership for missing the appointment. I'm glad your customers are seeing your gaslight response.
My feelings are not hurt. You didn't show up to our appointment that took a month to get. That's it. You didn't care enough to show up and instead went to the airport to get a friend and hang out.
My appointment was never put in your book and your staff had no idea I was coming in.
They clearly didn't know what I had because they took photos of each item and sent them to you via text because you were not there to keep the appointment. Thus the reason for the photo of your employee laying my items on the floor and taking photos to send you.
Your employee set aside 2/3 of my items to purchase. They were very clear about the items they were interested in. They only purchased three items after she texted with you so I suspect it wasn't my inventory.
Your employee told me your closing a store, I perhaps your financial situation has far more to do with your not showing up than the quality or age of my vintage items.
So the fault is yours and yours alone. If you had shown up, perhaps the outcome would have been different. Perhaps not.
To the people reading this drama. I selected Vacation because of how well the shop is curated. I know that not all items are perfect for a vintage store. But at the end of the day if the owner doesn't keep their commitments, doesn't take ownership for their actions and the staff isn't empowered to make their own purchases, why bother selling to them?

Read moreLove this store. Hands down I feel like it’s the best place to obtain rad vintage clothes and it’s even better if you’re a seller! I’ve been a hunter/gatherer of kitschy vintage wares for over 30 years now and I have to sell a good chunk of my finds in order to afford my hunt.. so, it’s shops like this one that makes my treasure hunting dreams possible! This is not the kinda store that you should attempt to sell your reprint concert/band tees or vintage looking clothing with the Target tags taken out, but if you have authentic vintage that isn’t gross or hideous then this is the store for you! Honest market value prices, honestly good natured people, it’s business done right! I’ve only sold with them three times so far (because I like to collect a nice assortment of items for their consideration before I make the trip over there) and so far we are 3 out of 3 times it was completely worth my time and energy and I felt appreciated and properly compensated in the end. HIGHLY RECOMMEND— ESPECIALLY TO ALL THE OLD PUNKS, SKATERS, & LOVERS OF THE ROCK & ROLL LIFESTYLE! And of course that’s not the only type of people they cater to by any means, but since I personally fall under said category I can speak from experience when I say they will take really good care of you! Thanks for doing what you do and doing it right,...
Read moreVacations' new store is like a labor of love ! Kristen Klien has bared her soul with a massive hand painted floor in a folk art style. I love it so much! It's truly one of a kind. The dressing room is also amazing. Vintage cotton sacks embellished with 1950s doll clothes who would think of that? That's a brief idea about the fun decor . As far as the clothes go ,get ready to find the best of the best clothes, shoes, jewelery, vintage t-shirts ,High end designer ,and every day wearable vintage . The store has something for every one. Prices are reasonable from $28 ,to the $1,000s for rare antique one of a kind ,victorian garb,1920s beaded dresses and rare examples of work wear . No review would be complete with out mentioning the denim jeans that are so popular. The staff will personally set you up with a pair that fits perfectly! Customer service is like wow! While I was in the shop a customer bought a pair of 1940s wool pants. They were missing some buttons. Kristen looked up and said "let me see what's wrong." Without hesitation she responded "we'll fix that come back...
