OMG! In early April I dropped my wallet inside of this Goodwill store!

Unbelievably, another customer found it on the floor and turned it in to Jackie at the register.

Jackie then called my AAA insurance card in an effort to track me down, as my DL is from out of state. Jacky worked with the AAA agent to locate and contact me on her behalf, which he did 2x!!!

After a few days of being in a panic I received a call notifying me that my wallet had been found.

To my utter surprise, upon my arrival to the store, Jackie knew exactly who I was and I was easily able to recover my wallet (completely in tact with the $300 cash inside) by answering some qualifying questions!

Jackie went above and beyond to track me down and to make sure my wallet was returned to me. I’m eternally grateful.

When you shop here..ask for her and tell her she’s awesome!

The Haight Ashbury is the best...

I’m tired of what’s going on at your store! Today I paid $40 for purchases at the store on 1700 Haight Street. It said approved but the cashier said their machine couldn’t recognize my card. However, my banking app showed that $40 was deducted from my account. I didn’t receive any items. I spent 40 minutes in the store and left with nothing. The bank shows the $40 was charged, but the cashier didn’t give me a receipt.

The same thing happened a week ago. I wasted my time — the Chinese cashier with very poor English ran the payment twice, and it showed as approved both times. But she didn’t give me the items and said it was a malfunction with their machine.

Manager and owner of Goodwill — are you even serious? This is outrageous!! Fix this mess immediately!

Also, bring back the mirrors in the store. How are we supposed to shop...

This goodwill is huge! It's in the center of a really fun street with other vintage stores, plant stores, crystal stores, all the fun little stores you can think of. We went to get out of the rain and get some souvenirs from our trip. I found a super cute wind breaker and some cute black boots. There were so many cute jackets and honestly I could have spent so much money there. I highly recommend. My only complaint is they charged me more than what the signs said things were. On the shoe rack it said Women's shoes were 9.99 but then charged me $13 for my boots. I didn't want to fuss about it at Goodwill. I think they may have raised their prices and didn't update the signs, they also said they don't have color tags for sales anymore. They were a bit pricier than other Goodwills I...
