While opinions may vary, I personally did not enjoy my 5spice chicken sandwich. The meat texture was off and slightly slimy, my bread didn’t taste fresh and I gave up on it after 2 bites. My partner couldn’t tell me if it was tuna or chicken… On a positive note, the Thai tea was fantastic and not overly sweet. The service seemed pretty rushed, but we were the last customers on a Saturday and they were pretty obvious about wanting to leave. They were stacking chairs and turning off the lights while we were waiting. Honestly, I wish they would have just turned us away and said they were closed… I could have saved some money and they could have gone home. Win win.. but I doubt I’ll...

I ordered a Bahn mi and a thai tea. The Thai tea was good, but the Bahn mi basically had no meat in it. In fact, the Bahn mi was barely stuffed, it was filled with cilantro and had a sprinkle of meat in it. As someone who was trying to get a quick bite, it wasn't that big of a problem until I had noticed that the guy who had ordered after us and seemed familiar with the restaurant, also ordered a Bahn mi. Except his Bahn mi was so much more stuffed than ours that it literally was put into different packaging. I have a very big feeling that the people working at the restaurant recognized that my friend and I were not familiar with the area or the restaurant and took...

i put high praise on google reviews but then was thinking and realized i’ve never left reviews for my favorite places, which dragoneats most definitely is. i’ve been coming here for 6 years and it’s so freaking delicious. i order the garlic butter chicken breast bahn mi (with no jalapeños) and it always hits. their noodle bowls are also super scrumptious (i like the tofu with soy sauce). super quick service and in a cute room on haight st with natural light and hipster decor. only thing i’d change is for them to stay open later! can’t...

One of the worst banh mis I’ve had in awhile. Everything from the bread (hard) , to the (barely pickled) raw tasting veggies, to the amount of meat they used (barely anything). I guess they get away with it with the clientele they serve. I got the roasted duck banh mi and the duck was all skin and fat, tasted oily and had one thin strip of meat as you can see. They charged $13 for a bread that was more french bread from a safeway than a properly baked bunmee bread. The warnings were in the other reviews. My fault for not listening
