Sockshop Haight Street — Local services in San Francisco

Visited the Sockshop Haight Street recently and I must say that it was a very pleasant experience. Let me start by saying, who doesn’t love a good and fresh pair of socks?! The sockshop has an amazing array of socks and other goodies. There were so many different types varying from Starwars, Christmas, Presidents, and so much more. Also, they have socks for every age and occasion. I bought some Sesame Street themed socks for my little one. Now, the only downside is that the socks are a bit on the expensive side, but, considering what the pandemic has done to most businesses, I was happy to pay a little extra and help a neighborhood store. There are so many stores on Haight Street; smoke shops to vintage clothing stores and eateries, but only a few are so specialized as the Sockshop on Haight. Even if you wear the most boring socks in the world, you will spend at least a few entertaining minutes in here. You'll find almost everything from floral thigh-highs to sheer ankle-freezers, simple patterns to novelty Albert Einstein portraits and a variety of leggings and tights. And even better; they're reasonably priced! With most pairs under $10, you're likely going to walk away with something you really like, without feeling like you've dented...

The name explains what type of merchandise they sell. It doesn't tell you about the awesome selection that they have! I got a couple pairs of super fun dinosaur socks from them and a giraffe pair. (I happen to love both dinosaurs and giraffes.) It's a really fun place to pick up unique items for gifts. They do sell more than just socks, but you really only go here if you're looking for some socks that will tell whoever you're buying them for that you know they are weird and you love...
