Street Tacos was a cute joint on a happening San Francisco street. The food was being made fresh so everyone could see the grilled meat and everything that was going into your dish which was great! This was a common theme for all the food and drinks.

To begin with I got the watermelon agua Fresca which had a strong watermelon flavor and even though watermelon was out of season there was sweet watermelon in the drink as well! It was super refreshing and tasty on a hotter San Francisco day. The price also was not crazy as it was only $3.50 for a lot of drink!

I got the Al Pastor street bowl which was basically marinated pork, beans, cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes in one big tostada bowl! It was again so refreshing as everything tasted warm and fresh which I appreciated. There was no stinginess with the pork which was extremely flavorful and tender and there was loads of all the other ingredients. I even enjoyed the tostada which I was scared would taste stale because of the old grease but that also tasted warm and fresh. There was a bit too many beans for my liking which made my tostada really wet which was a flaw in the design of the street bowl, but it was still overall delicious for $13.50! The chips and salsa were also pretty good. The chips were normal nothing special, but the salsa was very unique and tasted like it was made in house with some BOMBB tomatillos! The salsa was really refreshing and there was so much of it. I only wished that it packed more of a kick because it was a really sweet salsa.

OVERALL, Street Tacos WAS FIREEE with cheap prices, fresh and mostly delicious food, and good service, so while it wasn’t anything crazy special I definitely recommend Street Tacos to others and I hope to...

Bad Costumer service !! Cashier was so mean !! Cashier forced me to get beans on my tacos and a watermelon drink I did not want , even though I kept telling him no.( as a California native beans are usually not on street tacos so it’s weird he keeps forcing me to get this up charge )I came in for asada tacos and horchata that’s it .Mistakes happen and I’ve been here before it was no big deal at first .I just went to the register to fix it but the way the cashier handled himself was far from ok. When I came to the register and showed him beans all over my taco and asked about the up charge .Someone took my plate and I was met by an angry cashier.Who then thought it was ok to profile me as an angry black person, we are all brown that’s not ok. I just wanted to fix the order he forced me to have my race should not have taken place in ordering tacos . By then I felt uncomfortable with them remaking my order with the behavior of the cashier. At first he refused give me a refund and my food had already been taken Eventually he put a a ten down and a few dimes and refused to get an accurate refund. At the end of the day we are all brown . I came to support and even tipped him after being rude to in the ordering process. Please do better and put people at the register that is ok with helping anyone despite what they look like . Several of the staff that was in the front treated me this way . Two star because there is one good employee in there .he came from the back and tried to help but the manager and the cashier could careless . The other person give this place a bad look and is mean to regulars . More happened but please treat kind costumers...

While the food was decent, I wouldn't say it lived up to what I was expecting based off of the other reviews. It was comparable to your run-of-the-mill Mexican fare which you can get at several dozen different restaurants in any California city. Definitely didn't stand out as anything special based off what I ended up getting (super burrito with campechano, as well as a quesadilla).

Also, the menu prices on their website don't mention a surcharge for shrimp or fish, though the menu prices at the front of the shop mention a $1 surcharge... then you get inside, and the menu at the counter mentions a $4 surcharge. Probably would have skipped coming here if I had known I was looking at a $14 burrito.

Still, the portion sizes were large (again, similar to most run of the mill, modestly priced Mexican restaurants). I left...

I went into here with average expectations, and was literally blown out of the water. I’ve been here for a week trying various restaurants across every genre of food, and this is easily #1 for me. 10/10 best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Ordered a carnitas bowl, wife ordered pollo, total came out to $20. If you order in person it’s cheaper than online. Both proteins were loaded in delicious flavor, and incredibly juicy, dare I say, succulent. All the veggies and cojita were great, but the star of the show was that incredible tortilla bowl. It can be used as nachos along the way, torn and folded to make small tacos, or enjoyed afterwards, but this dish is worth every penny and then some. 10/10!

Juicy, flavorful burritos. The costumer service was standard, and the food came out quick. The chips were warm, crispy, not too salty, but a little too oily. For the burrito, there was 3 layers of tin foil which seems excessive to me. I got a campacheno burrito, which is a blend of beef and charriso. The burrito was moist and flavorful, nothing too overpowerful. The burrito lacked beans, but not a deal breaker. I asked for spicy salsa and tasted nothing spicy or salsa. I paid around $15 for the burrito which seemed a bit overpriced for me. Overall, great experience for a nice meal.
