I cannot say enough nice things about Helen. My daughter wanted to cut her hair. She wanted it short, but feminine. My daughter went in with an anime photo of what she wanted, and Helen listened patiently a teenager, and treated her with so much respect, guiding my kid all the way through what she wanted, and my daughter was delighted with the result, as was I. Beautiful layering, and you can tell she is a master at her art, and completely responsive to her clients.

Flash forward, I went to get my hair highlighted.

I am older and have damaged hair, with limited options. Helen was completely thorough in assessing what I should and should not do, and what would be my best options.

She left me with a beautiful look that actually made my hair feel healthier !

However, it was a little darker than I wished, so I called her to ask if there was something I could do to lighten it , and she immediately scheduled another appointment to just make it exactly what I want.

Amazing!

She is super busy, and as you can see from her reviews, she really didn't have to do this, and she just did because she cares about her clients and her work.

Very cheap price and very good quality for the price. Super efficient and fast, my partner and I were both done in 30 minutes or so total (and we only paid 40$ plus tip for both cuts, done dry). That being said, the speed doesn’t cause a decrease in quality. The hairdresser was very professional, skilled and did exactly what we asked for!

I won’t say it was the best haircut I’ve ever had, or the nicest salon, but I didn’t expect that (my ‘magician’ hairdresser across the coast is like 200$ plus tip for a wash/cut/blow dry). This was exactly what I wanted for a great price (fast, good results, acceptably clean) and I will be coming back! If you are looking for a reliable, fast, cheap and good quality hair cut (especially if you are a man or don’t need anything extremely complicated), come here!

Threading: $12 for brows and $5 for upper lip. It was a decent job overall. When threading the upper lip she was rushing through it and scratched my skin with the thread. When I was checking it she jokingly said I scratched it when I didn't even touch my upper lip area. If she had just admitted she did it I would have been okay with that, but trying to say I did something when I didn't is not cool. Had threading done at least 30 times before and this has never happened. And yes, I did look at my face in the morning when I applied lip color and no, I definitely did not scratch...
