Opened just a year ago the Hokkaido Sashimi Marketplace offers a good variety of fresh, sashimi grade fish.
We tried the Otoro, Chutoro, Tai, and Uni (sea urchin).
All good and reasonably priced for the quality received.
Helpful staff and they will slice the fish to sashimi or sushi sized pieces if you want.
We sliced our own and had sashimi and temaki (hand rolled) sushi.

Read moreI stumbled upon this store while walking in the neighborhood. Came in after 6 and saw they had a few boxes of sashimi left over at a 20% discount. This was on a Friday so I wasn’t sure if there would be more or less available. Overall I would say the fish was still good and tasty after sitting on the shelf all day.
