Okay, here’s the qualification to my review, I like traditional doughnuts. The fancy $7 a pop doughnuts, trying to be something else just irritate me. That said, Jelly Donut is my new favorite doughnut place in all of California. Primo’s down in LA… excellent. Bob’s in SF is excellent, except when it isn’t. And yes, I’ve tried so, so, so many doughnut places across North America. But Jelly Donut is my new fav. Why? Jelly Donut doughnuts are crunchy on the outside, soft, flavorful, and light on the inside. They’ve got all the standard kind of doughnuts, and a few slight variations like a guava jelly doughnut (outstanding). And… they’re also inexpensive, to the point you’ll think you’ve been under charged. What a gem of a place!

The owners/staff are the most welcoming friendly folks around. The prices are unbeatable hands down. To make it even better, the donuts are so delicious, unique options, just made fresh as well. The awesome owner hooked it up with several free fancy donuts just because they know how to run a successful business and keep customers in love with every aspect of their simply bomb as fudge donut shop. God bless you guys for being really about service and good hearted so even folks with a tight budget can eat gourmet goodies. That's taking care of ur community. Good job,Jelly, stay delicious. 🤤🔥💯♡♪┌|∵|┘♪└|∵|┐ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ ur so....mmm yummy..I❤️‍🔥🍩. ♡(☞ ಠ_ಠ)☞🥇🏆🎖️

"The Jelly Donut in San Francisco's Mission district is a must-visit cash-only haven for donut lovers. Despite arriving near closing time, I was pleased to find a good assortment of cakes and cruller donuts. Their blueberry and strawberry-glazed crullers stood out with their perfectly balanced sweetness. The staff, especially the kind lady who assisted me, was incredibly warm and even generously added an extra treat to my half-dozen purchase, all for $7. I'm eager to return and sample their cream and jelly-filled offerings, which I've heard rave reviews about!"

An economical, nostalgic throwback to the standardized coffee and donut shops of last century. Great for coffee, a donut, and a quiet place to read or write. A safe haven for locals craving the last unspoiled spaces before the pitiless invasion of the Mission by the bland army of invidious startups and loud English speaking semi humanoids whose blaring voices and inanities bulldoze the rich local culture. Showcases of glowing rainbow donuts, finally arrayed in their finest sugar glaze and sprinkle glory await on the altar of confectionery delights. Pour your own coffee for a buck or two. Just sweets and coffee and no meals. A welcome escapade for those seeking a...
