Wouldn't recommend this for a team event. The main vibe I got from one of the owners (sounds like there are 2) is stingy. If you get the other guy, the downstairs experience at what seems to be the main shop, it's probably better. In general, meh experience. 2 stars since they delivered something. But would I recommend it or do it again, no.
Stingy: There's a minimum number on the reservation. We paid that and 2 people don't show up. That's fine, I just inform the guy, immediate response was: we have a minimum. I know... I'm just letting you know two people aren't showing. Things are just barely portioned out with no excess because they guy doesn't want any waste. Applicable for even things like the amount of toppings we get. We paid for GF noodles. When I asked him to cook it, I got a lecture because the person wanted it also made noodles and "this is one serving" and "most people don't finish it". After I asked him a second time where he insisted that I had to finish the noodles, he boiled it.
Experience was extremely meh. He makes some dumplings as appetizers. Brief history, your main experience will just be mixing flour, water, salt, on a wobbly stainless steel work table (most likely uneven floors) and then putting it through a KitchenAid attachment a few times. Then you go and boil noodles. He gives you the broth and you pop some toppings on. Dessert is some ice cream mochi that you can basically get anywhere.

Read moreI just left it 20 minutes ago and wanted to leave a detailed review as well as a big Thank you to the owner. I've had this experience on my list for almost a year and I am so glad I've finally got the time to go there. We booked the time & day we wanted a month ago and were super excited to go here. Upon visiting, the owner seated us and brought some gyoza over. The place itself is very cozy and organized. Then we moved onto preparing the noodles from scratch. He did a great job of explaining everything to us and taking it not too fast. Once we were all done with noddles, we were led to the area where we boiled them, while the owner poured the broth into each bowl. Then we added everything else and enjoyed the meal (I rarely finish the whole bowl, but it was so delicious that I finished it quickly). Then we were also given mocha ice cream.
There were stands for phones if one wanted to take videos, which I really appreciated.
Overall, it was great experience, amazing customer service, and even better ingredients. Now I'll recommend this to all my loved ones and will try to come...
Read moreGot me and my partner tickets for Saturday at 11:00am. Make sure you arrive 15 minutes beforehand so you can enjoy your gyozas at the table. The place filled up really quick as it was a full booking. We washed our hands and stood at our station by the kitchen aid. Jeff was leading the class, he explains the history, ingredients, why we use this ingredient and what happens if there’s too much of it. I love how everything was explained and we weren’t just told to mix ingredients. They had phone stands for people who wanted to make tik toks as well. After following step by step, I was amazed how great me and my partners noodles came out— I was worried at first since it was too dry. We cooked our noodles, put everything together and we had AMAZING ramen. The broth was perfect to my liking, it was spicy and savory, with the right amount of salt. My partners noodles were better and thinner than mine. Overall the experience was unique, fun, took 2 hours to finish, and we get to enjoy the fruits of our labor. Most importantly, I didn’t feel rushed. It was a very...
