MI REYNA MARKET — Local services in San Francisco

YAY! i have been looking for another food store/bodega in the TL which still has good prices... i mean, i am sorry! but at the two other stores where i used to shop here, they stopped taking EBT and that just doesn't work in this neighborhood. plus the bread and other staples there had DOUBLED in price anyway. eek!

so i decided to try Mi Reyna Market on the way home a week ago and after 3 visits, i am hooked on the selection, prices, and lovely attitudes of the staff! i have found that they have AWESOME prices for their selections, too!

i personally could stand it if a few more frozen dinners were available due to me having no kitchen in my room, just a microwave. but the pantry shelf selection and produce section are both quite impressive for our area! (and i understand freezer space takes a LOT of energy and space, so i don't mind so much.)

i even got an 8-pack of sticky rice bowls tonight from there... what an AMAZING find in this neighborhood! it made my night i tell...

This is my go-to for the forgotten ingredient, late night ice cream or morning pastry. The prices are high but competitive for the neighborhood and consistent. But what won my loyalty is the service and selection, which are both literally peerless around here. The owner/operators work so hard; they keep the store clean, organized and well stocked, get to know their customers and go out of their way to be provide excellent service (since I named my B&J flavor they ALWAYS have it, and I once casually inquired about a flavor of soda that's hard to find and he had it there the next day). They always have a perfectly ripe avocado, fresh fruit and a humorous (if slightly sardonic)...

I recently found this lil Gem , and my goodness am I super fkn Glad I did!!! It's just like a Mini Super Market, lots of good food to choose from! Definitely takes the cake as far as lil corner stores go!!! I'm actually walking there right now!!! Gonna get some ice cream and chocolate milk, and maybe browse the fully stocked up aisles for something random and delicious! Lols And, indeed, let me not forget the Guys that work there/or own / or manage the place are always pleasant to speak with and I appreciate their ability to deal with all the people who come in there and still have decency and general respect for their...
