spent 11 nights at this hotel from tuesday, october 29 - saturday, november 9, 2024. the metal sink stopper broke as soon as i tried to use it to close the sink so that it could be filled with water. i then noticed the metal stopper in the tub was ajar so picked it up to see why it wasn't fastened. the most disgusting sludge, hair & other debris was under the stopper & it looked like this drain had never been cleaned out. i immediately called down to the front desk. ramon, the maintenance/building engineer came up & said he'd get the necessary parts to replace the broken sink stopper. i then told him he needed to look at the bathtub stopper. he was shocked as i was by what he saw & said "no one should ever had had to see what both of us have just seen here." i agreed...he apologized & said he would take care of the problem & i asked him to please clean the drain out in the tub also. he said he would do. i later saw ramon in the lobby & he confirmed both items had been fixed & the tub drain cleaned in the bathroom. the tv in the room had several issues. even when the volume on the remote was turned to the maximum number of 100, it was difficult to hear the tv. i called down to the front desk & the man said he was sorry but the tv was not a smart tv & 100 was the maximum volume & he was sorry that i could not hear the tv. i eventually tried to fix this issue & turned the volume all the way down to zero on the remote. then when turning the volume up to about 72, i could now hear the tv. the problem with this fix is that each time the tv was turned on again, this whole process had to be repeated in order to once again be able to hear the tv. the tv also began to shut off after a couple of seconds of us. i would try to turn it back on several times & the same thing happened. i looked online for a fix & it said to unplug the tv, wait 5 minutes & try turning the tv on again. i did this & it worked ok. the problem was that this happened again every couple of days to the whole process had to be repeated each time. when taking a shower after about 3 days in, the hot/cold lever/handle in the tub stopped staying fixed in one position & would slip/move on its own all the way to the scalding hot water position. i had to hold the lever while soaping up with my other hand to avoid being burned by the hot water. i called down to the front desk with this issue. the man didn't understand the problem & when i asked him to repeat the issue he said "you don't have cold water." i left a long note & taped it to the wall by the handle in the tub so that ramon would know what the issue was when he came to fix this lever/handle. later that day in the lobby, ramon confirmed the lever/handle had been fixed & once again apologized for this problem. the band of lights under the tv went out the first time i turned them on & had to be replaced. both the hot & cold water faucets leaked copious amounts of water when the sink was used. the water ran down the sides of the top of the sink & had to be wiped up with towels/washcloths constantly. the area around this hotel has a lot of homeless, druggies, mental health disturbed people & tons of feces on the sidewalk. every time i walked away from the hotel i had to be aware not to step in feces from either dogs and/or humans or slip & fall as i did one time on the wet sidewalks that were constantly being hosed down to be cleaned several times a day from the feces/other garbage on the sidewalks. on my last day here, i came upon bebe miller, the general manager, at the front desk, who asked how my stay was. i told her i had many issues but my notes were in my suitcase which i didn't have access to at the moment. she gave me her email address & asked me to let her know the issues i had encountered. we exchanged an email & she offered me compensation for the tv issue. i never heard back on that offer after sending her another email going more into detail about the other plumbing & room issues i had...

Valet parking is available at from the curb at the front entrance. Upon entering the lobby the building immediately distinguishes itself from an ordinary building. The lobby is bright clean and filled with contemporary furniture as well as 2 computer stations. Some of the features these computers have are word processing software and general internet access. In addition, there are two more stations that allow guest immediate access to all the major airline sites in order to print boarding passes. Across the lobby is the Registration Desk. Upon entering the lobby I was immediately acknowledged and cheerfully greeted by the associate on duty. He asked the appropriate questions in order to confirm my reservation. Upon arriving at my room I was pleasantly surprised to find a rather spacious bedroom with a King size bed, a flat screen TV (about 48") a work desk with electrical outlets and a dresser with a couple of drawers for clothing. The room also had a closet and the bathroom had the usual hardware with a stand up shower. The room had a working thermostat that allowed me to adjust the temperature in the room. The room was clean and neat based on my visual inspection. Very nice accommodations. I did not use the House Keeping service, however, each day I found a note under my door with instructions on how to obtain any towels or toiletries I may need that normally would be replenished had I used the service.
The hotel has a small fitness center as well as a dining area with a bar for those who prefer 12 ounce curls! A modest breakfast menu is available in the morning and adult libations with a limited bar menu is available in the evening. Again, everything I observed in the bar and dining area appeared to be clean and in good order.
Of particular note the staff at the front desk and in the restaurant/bar were all very pleasant and helpful. The evening shift at the bar was outstanding! One gentleman on the evening shift was extremely conscientious as he made certain all of the customers in the bar were served promptly and he remembered the names and preferences of repeat customers! Very impressive. I apologize for not remembering his name, however, his birthday was during the week of my stay between the 5th and the 8th. I think it is...

I checked into the Marriott Courtyard Union Square in San Francisco.
I am a disabled vet, visually impaired (legally blind and use a red and white cane). my communication skills aren’t what they used to be. Nevertheless, the entire staff were polite, patient and respectful.
As my Uber pulled up, Dein, at the front door,, was there to greet me and help me out of my Uber. Throughout my stay, he would always ask if I was OK if there’s anything he could do for me.
The next person that I met, Amia the Front Desk Supervisor, who is very patient and professional,. Amia checked me in and was kind enough to put me in a room on the first- floor, so I wouldn’t have to deal with any stairs or elevators. I greatly appreciated that, because of my lack of vision.
Amia was also kind enough to let me know that if there was anything I needed, not hesitate to ask for her she would do her very vest to accommodate.
A couple days after I arrived when I had a problem with my reservation, Amia looked into the matter and resolved my problem quickly.
I felt that she could tell that I was very stressed because I had been displaced from my home, she was very sympathetic to my situation which helped take my stress away.
In fact, the entire staff was very attentive. Erwin, I believe was a supervisor for housekeeping and the food facilities, made sure that if I had any special requirements not to hesitate to ask him.
I really enjoyed the fact that the hotel had a breakfast bar, the fresh fruit cups in the morning were my favorite. The best part of the breakfast bar was that it opened up again in the late afternoon for a couple of hours, so those of us who wanted a light dinner of hot sandwiches and other delights.
Nicole behind the counter made sure that our food requests were taken care of.
During my stay, I met some other guest who said every time they come to San Francisco. They stay at this particular hotel, which didn’t surprise me at all.
What I thought would be a two or three day stay, turned into ten, which turned out to be OK because the staff were great! I can honestly say I received five star service from the entire staff, and I would not hesitate to Recommend this hotel to friends,...
