Missing Sock Laundry — Local services in San Francisco

Edit 12/12/23: Machines seem to be out of order more frequently. Last two trips have both been a disaster with dryers eating money and washers being unavailable due to mechanical error. Will no longer be frequenting this laundromat, despite it being the most convenient.

It’s…fine. Half the washers are out of order, but there’s always a few available as long as it’s not peak hours. Sometimes the machines eat your $, but it’s infrequent enough to not be a huge issue.

The biggest frustration is just how long it takes their payment processing machines to refill your card. Screen after screen take an eternity to cycle through, and half the time your payment doesn’t go through, so you end up spending 5 agonizing minutes waiting for it to process. Awful experience, but it’s not like we’re flush with options.

A bit expensive for 3.75 small wash 6.50 med and 9 for large half the washing machines 7 of them were out of order and maybe 15 machines total the ones that worked did a good job Snd although the facility was clean and nice the lint traps in the dryer were filthy like no one ever changed them they are $1.75 for 30 min and did a good job the parking is difficult because of the trolly tracks so no place to park or pull over but the main reason for the low review they state they are coin laundry so I got quarters upon arriving you have to put $ in there card WHICH COSTS $10 For the card itself and they only have 2 locations as a visitor in the neighborhood seems like a rip off to me!!! And I ended up having 3.75 left on my card I will never use again great...

The worst laundromat I've ever experienced in my entire life. They make you purchase a money card to be able to use the machines. Apparently, the cost is $10, but you only get $5 in credit for that purchase. Huh?? Having to pay extra just to do your laundry there?? Like a cover charge for a laundromat. Whoever heard of something so completely ridiculous. Did NOT do my laundry here after figuring out what scam this place is. Want more proof?
