I went for the fist time yesterday. As we walked I watched a group of guys watch their friend graffiti the back of a van. That was pretty bla. But we walked through the vendors and there were a lot of nice options. They get 4 stars for existing the first place because having a local farmers market is great. They also get 4 stars because the selection is great. I had some gluten free goodies that were to die for. The don't get 5 because the setup and layout doesn't look very organized. They could use a re-org of where things go to make a better shopping experience, but I enjoyed it and will be back for sure. Got some awesome red chard too,...

Or perhaps because they also cater to students, this market offers some of the best value you can find. Even if you don't attend City College, the market is still easily accessible by public transit.
One of the few markets that have more than one single egg vendors.
Note that this market is NOT year-round, but when it is open, I recommend paying a visit to see if you like what they have to offer. Being in the Mission, food choices are aplenty, just a few blocks away...
