I searched "apple pay" in the reviews, and that's why I came to this laundromat over the others that are every other block here. This location does not have apple Pay, but something called pay range/an app. I've used it before, as I travel a lot. I already have the app predownloaded on my phone.
At any rate, I paid twice for one load of laundry because it did not start the washer on my first time paying. I've never had an issue with this app before at any other location, so I'm not sure what the issue is.
I'm not a fan of the app itself because I'm traveling, and you have to load the card in certain increments vs. what you actually need to pay for a wash and a dry. This is why I prefer apple pay. I would not have trecked the extra (hilly) block had I known. This location uses a temperamental app.
The laundromat itself is fairly clean/new, looking with a laundry soap vending machine. The wash is 5.25 for only about 20 minutes of wash with the smaller washer; which did not clean my clothes as well as other laundromats I've visited in SF. There is no attendant on site despite supposedly offering wash n go at this time of the day/week.
*Pay Range did respond to my refund request within 2 hours....
Read morecame back to edit my review and give it less stars. i’ve been using this laundromat for 8 months and for the second time the machine ate my money and didn’t start and the employee was no help. they said to email payrange for a refund but i never got a response. not to mention the cycle cost $10 so it’s not cheap. i’m going to a different laundromat now since i’ve ran into too many issues.
previous review: the laundry machines work well and it’s always clean but every time i come after 8pm i get lectured for coming late by the employees. the website says last cycle at 9pm but they almost didn’t let me in today at 8:30pm because “soooo many people come late”…. there was 1 person in the entire place. like bro...
Read moreI’ve been using this laundromat for a while, but the last two times my clothes came out soapy. One of the employees once told me it can be leftover soap from the previous wash… I only ever use one pod in the big machines, so it’s frustrating to see my clothes come out with tons of soap. When I asked about it, I got a long explanation and attitude instead of a simple solution.
I ended up paying around $70 (rewashed) to wash what should have been $30, and this is the second time I’ve had to do that (my timeeeee).
Side note: I went in at 4 p.m. and was told “thanks for coming early, we’re cracking down on people coming late.”
That...
