Soooo Iām visiting from NC, just walking around town and had a major sweet tooth and went to google and typed ābakery near meā. This was not one of the bakeries that popped up. Google initially showed me a bakery maybe 2 blocks away and thatās where I went first. They looked understaffed, so after a few mins of growing inpatient in line, I decided to leave and look elsewhere. Plus, the vibes just werenāt there. Srry for the lengthy intro but I just gotta share how good God is lol. Anyways, I went back onto Google and this place showed that it was a short walk. Immediately once I walked in, the guy and girl behind the counter acknowledged my presence & smiled while letting me know they see me! All of the treats looked freshly made and the shop was clean. I almost chose my go-to treat, a strawberry shortcake cake but thankfully I decided to listen to those reviews that raved about the princess cake. Being an outta-towner I never knew princess cakes existed, and now Iām obsessed. Bcus what do u mean I went my entire life without knowing anything about this deliciousness??? Holy crap! God is so good bcus that other shop didnāt offer princesses so I wouldāve totally missed out! It took everything in me not to order several more slices to take back home. Thank u to the bakers and thank u to the reviewers for putting me on! Yall will be seeing me again! PS had to take a bite before...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have trouble to understand those amazing reviews Iām reading when this was the most expensive pastries I didnāt like and the worst service I had which in fact messed up my morning. Iām not trying to shame the place reputation but Iām really concern of the way the guy who attended me that morning doesnāt do it with anybody elseās. In fact is sad to mentioned this but that guy was Latino, physically non attractive with spiky flap tap kind of hair. He treated me so bad that I honestly couldnāt enjoy my first experience of trying their pastries. He make me feeling so badā¦like if heās going to give me a charity. I was about to tell him something but my manners didnāt aloud me. I hope the owners read this review because I paid twenty something dollars for a cappuccino, a tiramisu, a chocolate croissant and my dignity as I felt so humiliated by this āemployeeā. So here is the review. Nice location, nice coffee, overpriced pastries and honestly not so good flavor in general. In small places like this. Is always better received the attention of the owners which I asume are Italians or at least generations from Italians. Well, Italians are loud, happy, loving, appreciative and most of all friendly!!!! Love Italian people and community so I donāt know why this Latino, ugly guy doing instead of someone friendly who will respect and take care...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI walked into this place this morning like I have a few times now. The guy that usually serves me walked away and said that the lady was gonna serve me.. There was no one else in the bakery so Iam not sure why he cant this time around. When the short lady came up to me, she kinda gave me an attitude as she was doing someone else order....Iam sorry I dont know who was suppose to serve me as Iam standing here like a fool and there's two of u guys standing behind the counter... I ordered a turkey croissant and before I finished the order, she walked away from me not knowing I dont like mine heated. It was not even a few seconds when she appeared from the back that I said I dont want my turkey and cheese heated and that I havent finished my order. She just looked at me and snapped like its already in the oven. I know its too early but the last thing I need is an attitute from someone who works in my neighborhood.. Trust Me, I will never spend anymore dollar on these guys and will make sure friends and family do not use this establishment ever again... STAY IN BED IF U DONT WANNA WORK CAUSE IAM SURE THERE ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT CAN DO UR JOB BETTER THAN...
