The Mission Cultural Center for the Arts, The Cafe Bohemian, Little Jeruselum, are a few places that are worth visiting in this run down forgotten Mission area where homeless and addiction is a smelly and daily affair. The Bart station’s escalators and elevators are out of service. Imagine being in a wheelchair, elderly or single mother with kids and groceries? Bart was suppose to be a convenient, safe and affordable travel for the masses, which it is not. I have witnessed homeless and desperate addicts with knives breaking into Bart or threatening others and calling 911 was impossible since the signal cuts out when you are underground. Read more24th St & Mission Station is surprisingly cleaner than some SF Bart stations. It's incredibly spacious with a large set of stairs that lead to Mission Street. A Bart attendant is usually available for inquiries in his/her open office as well. There are two exits/entrances where you end of up on either side of 24th & Mission.
