My first time at Dulcinea and it did not disappoint me. It was highly recommended by a friend and was exited to try. When we arrived there was line, but it moved very quickly. The cashier was very friendly, she asked me for my order while waiting in line to pay. I ordered the memelitas with carne asada, one Oaxaca tamal, and got some croissants, guava empanda, and conchas. It was so delicious and tasty. I could tell that everything is made fresh. The beans in the were so tasty. The bread was soft and the cream inside was smooth and not sugary. The environment was pleasant and not too noisy. We got a take by the entrance door. The place is small but it was a nice spot for brunch. The owner even stop by and asked my friend and I how was the food. We also had a really good conversations about the culture and how passionate she was about crafting and making food. She is a super nice and lovely lady. I highly recommend it and will definitely go back. The parking is limited, but you can park...

Read moreMore than just a bakery, this place has a lot to offer. Open seven days a week is also a bonus when youâre looking for something to eat in the downtown area. Besides pastries and baked goods, they also have burritos, coffees, Colombian breads with meats n cheeses, and more. Locally owned and operated and the staff was super friendly when I stopped in. They have a great cafĂ© atmosphere outside with some patio seating where people can enjoy breakfast lunch and dinner based on the hours that theyâre open. I stopped in to get a special Oaxacan pastry with little red dots on it, and ended up leaving with a bag full of sweets n treats. I couldnât help myself! Lastly, another huge bonus is that they have their own parking lot. I love that San Jose has great places like this sprinkled around town. Iâll...
