Bought a Roku 4K streaming stick few months ago. Never worked properly, would only intermittently respond to the remote only a few feet away. Was brand new so the batteries in the remote were new. Wanted to disable the Roku remote from controlling the TV. Went to the Roku Forum where three so called Roku expert staff (not just users but Roku forum staff, each gave procedures the did not work. Went on the Roku customer support chat, first rep. just dropped the chat as I was typing up the issue. Second rep had me go through a procedure that I told him other users reported did not work but he insisted we go through it anyway, when it didn't work he dropped the chat. Third chat rep tried to help but could not. Called the customer support number, that rep had me on hold 3 separate times for ever, finally came back and said they would ship a new unit in 3-5days. Two weeks later, no new unit, called customer support back to find out what the status is. This rep. also put me on hold twice for ever. Took the serial number, the issue number, and the account email. Finally comes back and asks if i got an email to send the unit back. Well no, because the first rep said the new unit would arrive in 3-5days. Then she drops the call! Most Incompetent and dishonest company I ever...

Oh my the way I'm 63 years young. Hulu was very accommodating with helping me as their app was the one I was trying to expand and add more to it. But the problem is on your side. Well calling you at my time Central time of oh about 8:45 a.m. sure didn't make me happy to reach only voice mail. Which I hate too. So I sat here and wrote this glowing review. I hope like hell that when I reach you that your customer service is at least a fourth of what Hulu did for me. See I'm really BIG ON THAT LITTLE THING CUSTODY SERVICE. I learned my custom service skills as a Front Office manager of a hotel on the beach in Naples FL. And I did that job for over 20 years. I'm expecting alot of Ruko today and I'm hoping the problem is fixed by my end of day today. Not in a few weeks that I'm figuring it will be. A VERY UNHAPPY...
Read moreI've owned 2 Hisense/Roku TV's and 2 Roku streaming devices. I currently have the 4K streaming stick, which is far better than using LG TV software. My 32 inch Hisense/Roku TV has great 1080p video quality. However, Roku TVs have several serious drawbacks. Neither TV has Bluetooth, nor can you cast video to them. Both TVs have 3.5mm audio output jacks, but the one on the 32 inch does not work. Free Roku TV channels are very good, but the onscreen schedule is sometimes blank and shows no information. There is no auto tune capability to schedule viewing, nor can you pause live TV. Frequent Roku TV commercials often tout channels which are unavailable (such as GV TV), or show inaccurate programming and schedule information. I often stream programs from my computer with ad blocking, instead of tolerating the constant & repetitive Roku ads. At times Roku ads channels to my custom listing which I do not want, so I have to manually remove them. Roku also constantly ads the unwanted Netflix app to my list, which I again have to manually remove....
