I purchased my first OLED TV the XR-65A95K. I have owned Sony TV's exclusively since 1976. I will start out with the good. I think it is the best picture for a TV I have ever seen. But the sound without a sound bar is poor at best. Cool idea to use actuators behind the screen. With an expensive HT-A7000 soundbar and using the center speaker cable it is must better but still needs the subwoofer.
As with other reviews this TV is the slowest to boot up of any TV. Due to the fact that better then 50% of the time is boots to ither a blank screen or a solid green screen. You can unplug to reboot or try the remote go to system and reboot. Sometimes it will work 50% it won't and you do it again. Now if does boot up then the sound bar keeps interrupting and you have to choose the source. So just turning this thing on can take 5 to 15 minutes to see sound and picture. They use a proprietary Google TV so you can't add or remove apps you can only disable them. So you can't install Microsoft teams to use the camera.
In conclusion if you don't mind spending lots of time trying to boot up your TV. Then this is the one for you. If you just want to sit down and watch some TV DO NOT BUY THIS TV. Way too expensive for something that doesn't have all the bug worked out. Mine is a 2022 model so hopefully in a few years they will figure this out and have a great product until then avoid the expensive TV...

"Thank you for contacting Sony Electronics Inc. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Your file has been forwarded to our department. Please be advised that Sony provides a standard 1 year warranty for initial failures to be covered by the manufacturer. Once the warranty expires, it will be the customers responsibility to cover any repair cost on the unit. Due to the fact that the unit is beyond the manufacturer's warranty, we regret to inform you that we are unable to assist you with the repair/exchange.
I'll never purchase any sony products again as long as I live. I would advise you all do the same. The quality of their products have gone downhill and they are only a name at this point. A sony used to mean something, apparently...
Read moreCompany is BOGUS! Lifelong fan that will no longer purchase Sony. The switch from PSNow to PLUS is a money scam. They promised users that they would keep the old rates, only to force cancelations and charge the new rates on renewal. They refuse to issue refunds or any sort of compensation. I am doing an expose on them for social media, including recordings of all calls and screenshots of messages. I've also been in touch with 50+ other users that have experienced this same issue. Their stories will be included as well. I will update this review when finished with all social media & news outlets that will cover the subject. Throw out your PlayStations and go get XBoX Game Pass. This isn't a PlayStation only issue, this is a full on Sony issue.... It took 5 minutes for Sony to lose a 20+ year follower. Can't wait to see how many more they lose after this...
