Our experience with DiamAura was horrible from start to finish and I would leave 0 stars if I could. I would not recommend this company to anyone. First and foremost, the ring we ordered arrived directly from Hong Kong (not California) and delivery took much longer than expected shipping time stated. The ring at first glance seemed to be nice quality but after further comparison it did not look nearly like the photo on the website (the photo online showed the metal was matte black) and the one that arrived was extremely shiny (like costume jewelry). The website states clearly it honors return requests initiated within 30 days, and we initiated the return on day 25. As we planned for this to be a wedding band for our upcoming wedding, it was never worn other than to try it on for size purposes. It took 3 days for customer service to respond to our email request only to dispute our return request stating the item needed to be received back to them (including ship time within 30 days) which is not what it states in the return policy on the website. They agreed to refund us for the item upon receipt, but I had to pay out of pocket at USPS to ship the item back because even though their website states they will provide a shipping label, they refused (again still in the 30-day window). All the emails we received had grammatical errors. IMPORTANT - neither the live chat nor phone number work. The phone line rings and rings and then disconnects and we never received a response on the live chat. Avoid this company at all costs, it will cost you money, time and a headache. In the email responses we received, we were treated like we had done something wrong, and they were doing us a favor even though we were following their website guidelines. Ultimately, we received a partial refund, after the company sent blurry, unclear photos of the item stating it showed "signs of wear." This item was only taken out of the box once to try on and then never worn and we had taken videos to prove its unused condition before mailing it back. The entire return process took 19 days and if we had not fought as hard as we did and threatened to involve our credit card company, I doubt we would have gotten a partial refund at all. This is my honest and thorough review on my experience with Diamaura. I found the company online via TikTok and was a bit skeptical at first. I communicated with Olivia on a live chat & then set an appointment via google video to discuss details of my jewelry purchase. She was great at communicating and making accommodations in regard to payment options. Once payment was completed, my custom design was sent to their factory. This is where I began to worry because I was not able to view a real video of my diamond, the 3D image that was sent was also not what I expected as I thought it would be of higher quality compared to my previous 3D designs with other companies. However, Olivia was very open to communicating with my concerns and reassuring by also communicating with the team at the factory until we finalized my design. I did not receive any videos or final views of completion before the ring was sent to me. It took exactly 20 days to receive (including weekends) after my design was finalized. So again, I was scared and worried but once I received it, Omg it’s stunning! I absolutely love it and it looks exactly as I wanted and envisioned it to be. (With the exception of a bit of space surrounding my diamond and the setting) The packaging was also exceptional! It came in a nice large box with all certificates, receipts and jewelry box inside. I am happy with my purchase thus far (just received in mail today) and would gladly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase. I will very likely make future purchases with Diamaura again! I will suggest if they can start to get videos of the diamonds in factory it’ll be helpful for customers to see exactly what they’re getting.
