Been ordering the vegetable fried rice and asked to add pork. Which I received twice before. (at least that is what I thought I had). The third time I ordered the vegetable rice with pork added. I got home and noticed that the pork wasn't added I immediately called the restaurant and spoke to someone who apologized for the missing pork and told me they would leave a note so when I came in again they would fix the order. I went today at first I spoke to a young man when I asked for the manager he said he could help me. I explained that I had called and had been told that the man I spoke to would leave a note for the missing pork. He kept telling me that they don't have the pork that they change the menu. I said I have had it two times before. I showed him my receipt. Where is said please add bbq pork cut small on my last order from a few days ago and even a second email with the same request which I had received. He also informed me that the note could have been throw out by the night crew and also said the added pork would cost and extra $5 which wasn't the point and I would have gladly paid the extra. The young man obviously couldn't help me like he had first said. So then he had an asian man came out. Then had to explained the situation again. After telling him he didn't seem to be understanding what I was saying which was becoming very frustrating. He kept repeating over and over that I didn't have the pork that I had ate before. That it was vegetable fried rice that they didn't have pork fried rice. Well basically kept on telling him. Yes, I understand it's vegetable fried rice, but I added pork. I asked if they had pork when I didn't seem to get a straight answer. Further making me upset. he basically kept calling me a liar over and over. At this point with the broken english of the one man and the attitude of the young man telling me to calm down. I kept telling him how frustrated I was getting being told what I had/had 't eaten. They were very antagonistic and confrontational. So I said forget it and walked out. The young guy on the way out made a sarcastic and condescending remark. Hoping my day would get better. I cannot believe the lack or customer service I received. It was absolutely appalling. As good as the food was I will question whether to continue ordering from a place that treats its customers like that. After today I will definitely tell people and friends that I don't recommend ordering from them for the lack of customer service and the horrible customer service.

I'm Panda everyone, I was about to leave San Jose as I arrive at the train station at Santa Clara station. Right across the street is Good Kamra and I wanted a drink. But each time I visit a place for the first time, I always let the house choose for me "not before asking what beers they do have.'' The gentleman was nice and gave me the load down on the beers I'd like to try and he had chosen Rustic Ales IPA 6.4% and it was pretty good. I think I chose the right place for the right drink. The seating outside is dope as a panda. LOL, I like the style of it. Yes, they are open while maintaining social distancing through this pandemic for now. It was a nice fall weather season day. I have a Tofu jerk Burrito and no bull kidding you, jerk you will get and it's very yummy my stomach says. I have been carving or a burrito since I left Japan and now I have one. FYI, I am still eating it after works later "small stomach" I am in San Francisco and people asked me where did I'd order that Burrito and told them Good Karma and they responded were like "are you kidding me, LOL? NO, Yes, it Vegan now eat up people and enjoy. If I do decide to come back down to SJ I am drinking here.

They have outdoor seating on the sidewalk. Some were next to the building and some next to the curb. 4 people could sit at each table. You had to order from the door and they did serve to the table. Service was very pleasant and quick. They could recommend beers well. I ordered the Jerk and it was delicious. I have been to the place several times and I always love their food. It well spiced and balanced. It's one of the best tasting vegan food in San Jose. They have good selection of beers at tap, but most are strong in alcohol. The portions can be small and seems that they are meant as side for beer and not the whole meal. I have to order several just for myself to feel full. That's has been the case with this place always and not a recent change.

1 ordered the 2 orders of tacos (4 tacos total) & arugala salad. The price came out to almost 50$. The salad came in a home serving bowl with 1/5th of a child’s hand full. The tacos were mid at best, also heavily cheaped out on the actually taco material. Essentially I had 8 tortillas will very little filling & absolutely joke of a salad. The owners seems to live in the restaurant & makes the food & orders. I feel bad for him, but ‘the pricing vs what I got’ ratio was horrendous. I am very annoyed that these I was mislead to go here by the reviews. They’re all lying, go to this place if you have money to blow. I am a vegetarian, this place is NOT EVEN 5% of what Craft roots, Morgan hill is. I suspect the owner makes fake reviews to make sure he can afford the rent and groceries for the week.

Also, the really bad music was sooooo loud that I couldn’t have a normal convo with my friend. The empty restaurant (besides 2 some beer drinkers sitting outside) should’ve been a sign of how mediocre this place is.

I am a vegetarian, this is a bottle of the barrel place if you want vegetarian food. I can recommend vegetarian house, the merit, dilac, shooot even Veggie grill was 10000% more fulfilling.

I had to walk down the street to the Ike’s to actually get a meal (that I paid and filled me up). NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN, already warned bunch of my vegetarian friend groups...

I went to this place yesterday 12/3/23. I walked in greeted the lady behind the counter and ordered a salad TO GO. As I knew, I had somewhere else to be. The lady took my order and payment and walked off to talk to another patron. I had selected to print my receipt. When I asked for my reciept, she visibly had an attitude when she walked over to give me my reciept. So the guy in the back came out with the salad in a bowl and I was like "this is supposed to be to go". So he looks at her and she proceeds to straight up LIE. "He didn't say to go!". Looks at me and says, "You didn't say to go!" I responded calmly saying "I did". I told her "You can give me my money back". She then said, "You said to go whatever"

I found this place by searching YouTube and it got a good review. I do wish that food vloggers would start being honest and/or more observant about service. Was her attitude because of my race? I can't say that. All I can say is, there were 4 people in the place and I was the only person of color to walk in. She didn't seem to have an issue with anyone else. I don't care if I was green or purple. Establishments need to understand customer service is crucial.

I am a food vloggers myself and I typically don't share bad experiences but I don't want anyone to experience this. The irony that this place is...
