I had one of the worst experiences of my life on the VTA #40 heading to the Shoreline yesterday -the driver was speeding, he was extremely rude and screamed and yelled at me, because I pointed out that he was about to leave a person waiting at the next stop. He stated that "I had not gotten up from the stop where I was sitting fast enough," when I have cataracts and have trouble walking due to a disability, I also have two serious heart conditions and yes I could have easily had a stroke or a heart attack because of the way that he was treating me. Plus he flew by me and if I had not started to run for the bus [which is hard for me too do] I would have had to wait another 1/2 of an hour. Plus he told me that "I could not talk on his bus, to anyone," when there was a man needing to know how to get to the Shoreline. In fact the driver could have been more considerate since he knew that I was going to the Shoreline, by giving me proper directions to the venue. He did not do that and I ended up walking around in the heat for about an hour, trying to find the Shoreline. Yes he almost left me at that stop after waiting for a 1/2 in the heat, having to wait another 1/2 hour. He was threatening and he was acting psycho. He threatened to leave me out in the middle of no where, not knowing where I was, all because I pointed out that he had almost left that woman behind. His intention was not to pick me up again, without a doubt leaving me stranded. He knew that was his route and that he was the only way to get back to the Cal Train Station. My cell phone battery was not working, so I could not send for a uber. Thank God I ran into a Google employee that could see that I was distraught and he helped me to get back to SF to catch the BART to go home, that is how far away that I was from home. I can not help but wonder how many others he has abused verbally unmercifully, while leaving concert goers to the Shoreline literally stranded? I bet ya a lot, over the years. I had also asked a supervisor that I saw while at the bus stop before going to the Shoreline, "if they could create shuttles that would take people back and forth from the shoreline during concerts and major events?" I was met with verbal abuse from him too. The VTA is way outta sorts when it comes to the 21st century. After all, how long has the Shoreline been open? The shoreline needs to sue the VTA for not providing proper service to its venue, no doubt about that. Perhaps the VTA design team will get their heads out of their arse and create a better way to get to and from the Shoreline using shuttles? We can hope so --what happened to me yesterday? -- no human being should have to endure-- I was terrified to take his bus back to the CalTrain station as it was. However, on the way back and having to walk through a bunch of horrible construction having no proper sidewalks to walk on because they were also being maintained, including having to walk on a walkway next to heavy traffic, including scary buses, he saw me heading to the stop, as I got about 30 seconds away from his bus he immediately took off, when I got nearer to the bus. I have also contacted the Shoreline in regards to how horrible the service is to get to their venue, they really need a shuttle from the Cal train station at San Antonio station and at the Mountain View Station, especially for the disabled. That runs before the event starts and after...
Read moreHorrible system of picking up customer, I’m writing this as I’m sat down in Cupertino at the bus stop with the ID 605568. I was sitting down and it was the only bus stop at this post and as I go to stand up the bus completely skips me and I’m 100% certain the bus driver had enough time to stop for me as I was the only person at the station. The bus had its lights on and everything it was in service and it wasn’t full either. I called customer service to report it since this has been the 10th time this has happened to me and the other times I understand since it was dark and their lights would have been broken or it was too full. Btw the time I was supposed to leave was 8:32 pm but now I have to wait for the 8:55 pm which is only making me later to the other bus stop I needed...
Read moreI had the most incredible customer service! It started the day before with phone help and then I needed to come in to get my clipper card replaced and was told exactly who to see, why and when! It was such an amazing process! Clipper customer service was terrible and uncaring and their lamp app is the reason I had to get a new card. ( disabled clipper card require picture and 3 week processing time so not easy ) but, VTA couldn't have made the process any better! I haven't had such amazing customer service from an organization in a...
