My wife and I had the great opportunity of finding this literal gem of a place while vacationing. We loved the craftsmanship of all of the jewelry which made it very difficult to chose just one thing, so we opted for three different versions of a ring. The customer service was impeccable and felt more like visiting with old friends rather than a shop owner and customer. The rings were custom fitted on site while we enjoyed old San Juan for about 30 min or so. We were also able to pick the gems we wanted. An old Nun’s apartment has become the modern storefront for a local couples breathtaking handmade jewelry. The jeweler herself runs the shop and was happy to tell us about the process behind the gold, silver, precious stone, and leather jewelry she makes. There are necklaces, bracelets, earring and more available in an inviting and well lit setting nearby some incredible restaurants, parks and historic places, all for a very reasonable price.
