My knowledge of cigars isn’t as robust as the legitimate connoisseur. However, I’ve smoked a variety of them for years and quite frequently. I’ve developed a love for cigars and one time a friend brought me back some Cubans from Havana. I was wanting a cigar while visiting Puerto Rico and after dinner some friends flagged me over to El Galpón to buy one. Immediately I asked for two full body cigars and the gentleman there asked if I was sure about them and offered a lighter option. He asked about my knowledge of cigars and really I didn’t know much. He gave a quick run down and also a brief history of the cigars there. That they were a cigar shop at one point. I appreciated the concern and the knowledge the gentleman shared. Later that evening I smoked one of them. It was very smooth and relaxing. Easily became one of my favorite cigars. This shop offers a whole lot more. We also purchased, with Priscilla’s guided help, two lovely watches with wooden bands that I’ve never seen anywhere else. This shop only sells top quality items and Priscilla took her time to understand what we were looking for. I recommend you at least poke your hea inside the shop!
