Moon Spa — Local services in San Luis Obispo

This was the WORST massage experience I've ever had. We came about 10-15 minutes early for a couples massage thinking we would need to do paperwork, give ourselves enough time to change, and say what we wanted for the massage. They seemed annoyed we came early and immediately started rushing us to get unchanged and ready.

My spouses massage person was decent but mine was extremely rough, digging with her nails, poured hot oil on my back, she was SUPER LAZY and sat down the majority of the massage. She was leaning over my head because she was sitting down, she sat on the massages tables multiple times and at one point completely left the room.

Due to her sitting down and leaning on top of me she was pulling my hair and elbowing me. She was also burping and because she was leaning over me I could smell her breath, which was terrible. Not to mention they didn't close our door which was uncomfortable since we were undressed. Someone else in the shop was watching TV so thats all we heard during the massage.

The only reason I didn't get up and walk out is because I didn't want to ruin my spouses birthday. If I could give this place ZERO stars I absolutely would. When we left our massage we also noticed they called us and left messages asking where we were when we had already communicated...

We are very happy with the service, me and my husband book our appointment at the last minute and they were happy to help us. I highly recommend this place if you are in town or you live here in San Luis Obispo, we walked out de-stressed , and very relaxed after our 1 hr massage. The only thing I would like to point out is they should have an extra person to answer the phone during the time they are performing the massages; that way your customers don’t loose any minutes of massage during phone calls.
