Rib Line | BBQ Restaurant — Restaurant in San Luis Obispo

I was fortunate enough to have Ribline cater my wedding in October, 2020. From our first tasting with Ribline, we knew they were the company we wanted to work with. The owner and head chef, Brian, walked us through our tasting and not only served us the most delicious BBQ on the central coast but offered us MANY different options that were off menu. If we were unsure about something, he would literally get up and go make it right then and there for us. Brian has the utmost passion for food and creates delicious dining experiences. After deciding to have them cater our wedding, Ribline was so accommodating and flexible with all of the Covid-19 changes our wedding went through. Krystal, the event director/owner even made additions and changes the week of our wedding! The delivery and setup service was phenomenal by Ribline. They were so professional and knew exactly where/how to set up the buffet table. Ribline let us borrow their chaffing dishes for the event too! The food at our wedding was exactly as I remembered it from our tasting: warm, delicious, and fall-off-the-bone meat! We ordered a variety of sliders as our appetizer which were the perfect fix before dinner. For dinner, we had the BBQ chicken, baby back ribs, mixed greens salad, cornbread with the famous cinnamon honey butter, roasted vegetables, and Mac n' cheese. Our guests were raving about the food the entire night! The perfect cherry on top was our breakfast burritos that we ordered from Ribline for the next morning. We ordered the "up-n-adam" burritos as well as veggie burritos. Not only were they a lifesaver after a night of heavy dancing, they were the best breakfast burritos we've ever had! We purposely ordered too many burritos to have leftovers and they have been equally delicious even a few days later. I would absolutely recommend Ribline for ANY event that requires delicious food. I would recommend them because of their professionalism, accommodations, passion for food, and most importantly quality of food! We cannot wait to eat at the Ribline restaurants soon and use them for our next event!

Visited Father's day 2022 and really underwhelmed from the decor, customer service to value. Was highly recommend and for me that day was just ok, nothing special. Plus I'm sure they were understaffed because my simple order of tri-tip sandwich & bean took 25 mins with them also missing my requested salsa. The tri- tip and beans just ok, bread for the sandwich soggy. An order after I place mine with 2 people was served before me. Come to find out my order was placed on a table with no communication that my order was ready for pick up. Person at the register also taking walk-in and call/online orders at the same time and you could see she was not happy working at that time. Was so busy that day that certain food options were out of from baked potatoes to bbq chicken. The fake plants hanging down looked tacky, to-go lunch specials not up to date, electronic wires from ceiling to countertop not visually pleasant, was able to view stocked boxes as you walk into kitchen walkway with a grubby trash on the side of those boxes, all kinds of equipment around cashier front and back of them. Paint or cleaning of walls definitely needed especially the EAT sign above looking dingy. Owner of Rib Line emailed me after viewing my review requesting I call them with a certain phone number. When I called was told by an employee that owner is rarely there because of the business (catering). So why send me a contact number you won't be available at except for messages going back and forth, suprised but I shouldn't have been with my overall visit on...

My husband & I were blessed to have Ribline cater our wedding. From the beginning, I felt extremely supported by with Krystal Appiano, Brian’s wife. We were getting married at a private venue & she ensured that they would take care of all of the hiccups & forgotten details that typically happen at private venues. When we went in for our tasting, Brian hand delivered each of our tasting dishes to us which provided a very personal experience. We got to hear a little bit about Ribline & Brian’s experience & of course, were able to try the world renowned beach balls- which we would eventually serve as an appetizer on the wedding day! Throughout the planning process, Krystal answered all of my calls & emails promptly assuring me that my questions were not silly…as a bride, they often can be! I met with Lala (my event manager) a couple of months before the wedding to walk through the property & figure out placement for on-site catering. I cannot say it enough- Lala is the best! She is so friendly, personable, gets the job done & gets it done well! Every single detail on the wedding day in regard to catering was perfect- the food was hot, fresh, & the appetizers were a crowd pleaser. Lala even hand delivered my husband & I our appetizer plate while my dress was getting bustled! Jesus was also a fabulous bartender.
