Macy's — Local services in Santa Ana

Macy’s Women’s Shoe Dept Sunday afternoon shift is a mess. Unprofessional and unorganized. They have two lines. One line for purchase and one to find a shoe size. Keep in mind there’s no shoe boxes outside by the displays. I already had my shoes ready both the same size and already tried on to purchase them. A Hispanic older lady with black hair blond streaks tells me to move from the purchase line to the shoe size line. I tell her I’m ready to pay. She says I need to move cause I need a box. I move to the other line which is long btw. People in that line have one shoe and want their size. So it’s finally my turn I tell them I’m ready to pay and I was told I need a box. The guy who helps me out goes to look for my box. Another person asks if I’ve been helped and I say I do. The same Hispanic white looking lady tells me to move so they don’t keep asking and naturally I move to the register. The guy starts helping other people out and I ask him if he found the box for my shoes. He says he hadn’t and he thought I had left. He finally checks my shoes out and gives me a 10% for not having a box. I thanked him because he actually has good customer service and that’s really why I’m giving one star. But because of the unprofessionalism of the other lady (which possibly is the manager ?) the experience was time wasting and unprofessional. Do better Macy’s. Macy's at MainPlace Mall in Santa Ana is the place to shop for your style of fashion and your home. This is a large three level store that has recently been remodeled. It is ADA accessible with escalators and an elevator.

Store employees are great to offer assistance while I shop their store, which is very helpful.

The first floor men's area is very new with a modern feel making it fun to shop. Their men's and women's shoe area on this floor is huge and very nice looking. The rest of the first floor is dedicated to cosmetics and jewelry; I can not imagine not finding what you are looking for in these areas.

When you go up to the 2nd level to shop the women's area be ready to see all the latest fashion styles and your favorite comfort wear. This women's area is very popular for shopping. I would recommend using the Macy's mobile app while shopping. It definitely helps in finding the sizes available while you shop and will tell you the price.

The kids area is also located on the 2nd floor. As you continue your shopping up to the 3rd floor you find their home department. I get almost all my home products from Macy's. It is nice to be able shop their Hotel bedding, outdoor furniture and kitchen accessories all in one spot. If they run out stock on hand to sell they make it very easy to ship it right to my home.

As a cardholder and Macys shopper for more than 20 years at MainPlace mall I am extremely disappointed with their customer service. Their 2nd floor women’s restrooms are always messy and the shoe department customer service is horrible . I was shopping over the weekend and found a pair of boots I liked . I tried on a size and when I asked for the other boot they mentioned they were not able to find it but to leave my contact information for them to get back to me . I asked if they were available online worst case senecio but I was advised to wait for them to call me back . Monday passed did not receive a call back so I decided to go look for them. I go find the shoe on the floor and ask for my size . Employee mentioned that they no longer had my size because it has been sold!! What !!! Why was I asked to leave my contact info on the first place if I was not going to get helped. I then asked for another shoe and size , employee just looked at the shoe and said no and walked away ! This to me is not okay. I understand we as humans sometimes had bad days but please treat others the way you would like to be treated . I would have appreciated if I had gotten that phone call that said “ I’m sorry we couldn’t find your shoe “ then me having to drive because sadly this was the only store...
