it says iphone. You take it in to Ruben in the basement on State. I spent nearly 3 years not touching anyone and social distancing. He shook my hand and had no sanitizer just some kind of "organic" bug killer. 45 min later he installs a battery and a screen protector I did not request. He charged me 80 dollars including the screen I did not request. It was charged to 20% and he told he to charge at home. 3 hrs later it is at 30%. I asked him to put a new battery in because it was not charging properly and I need my phone in case of medical emergencies. I go back the next day. We are talking while he is charging the new battery. He tells me the first battery was a dud. I asked him to put in an actual iphone battery not an 8 dollar knock off. He says well there is no warranty and uses another bad battery. This one won't charge past 45%. He tells me it's the motherboard but when I have an actual authentic battery put in elsewhere it works fine. The cherry on the top was as I was leaving he came at me with a great big hug. Two days later I am sick as a dog and test positive for covid. He claims he has been covid safe the whole time. No. I do not recommend. Read moreDude is super unorganized. Took my partner to go get his item repaired. Guy never told us where to meet him. We showed up, walked to a desk (and I say ‘a’ desk because there’s a million desks with no indication of what they belong to) the two men at the desk were SUPER rude. So we walked around and eventually found the repair shop downstairs where the guy left his dog unattended. We sat there and called and called and called the guy. No answer. As a matter of fact; it eventually went to voicemail. So we started back up the stairs and the guy was sitting in a random spot with another client. No apology for leaving us wandering around looking for him trying to contact him. Mind you, he knew we were coming in right then because we spoke to him on the phone. Kinda odd how his communication diminished. He also failed to tell us his credit card machine doesn’t work. So we didn’t show up prepared with cash. Super unorganized. Super ungrateful for his clientele. Which we low key felt a bit of prejudice coming from him cause his demeanor changed from when he was speaking to the Caucasian lady to when he spoke to us. He seemed annoyed to say the least. Won’t be returning. Only giving two stars because he actually did the job right....
