Botanic and Luxe — Local services in Santa Cruz

Absolutely ADORE this place! My friends and I stopped by one week during their anniversary celebration and the store was packed. They had sweet treats and raffles. The gals working here are super friendly and helpful. I got a candle and some Kari Gran items including her tinted sunscreen oil which is gorgeous and smells divine!

A week later I received a call that I won something from their raffle!! It was just an added bonus to a great shopping experience.

Since I don't live in SC, it's a bit challenging for me to get to their store. I ordered a few items online and they were beautifully packaged with hand written notes.

I popped in because I saw that they had plants. When I walked in I wasn’t greeted even though there was only one other person in the store. I picked out 2 plants. One plant was $13 and the other was $27. When I went to pay for them, the lady that was at the register informed me that one was a specialty plant and that was why it was priced the way it was. I knew exactly what the price was for each plant prior to going to pay for them since they each had a price tag. Her comment caught me off guard. Did she make that comment because she thought I couldn’t afford it? First off, Erin (apologies if I misspelled her name ) was an absolute angel! She was so friendly, professional and easy going. It was like I was talking to a friend rather than someone just trying to sell me something. I went home with the most adorable little snake plant. Thanks to her knowledge and gentle nudge, I decided to take it home. It added so much life to my room!!! Best decision ever. Erin you're a doll!! Thank you! (:

Secondly, the store was STUNNING! My favorite store in Santa Cruz by far. Everything was so aesthetic, neat and clean. It just gave me warm, cozy yet put together lifestyle vibes. I totally dig it. I WILL be back to grab some of those dried flowers and maybe a candle or two. Incredible...
