Nambé Off The Historic Plaza — Local services in Santa Fe

We purchased a large set of Pop stoneware at the Santa Fe Plaza location. After light use it's clear the Pop stoneware finish is bad and the plates will not hold up to use. After spending over $600 on 8 full place settings, a serving tray and fruit bowl we noticed the plates began to take on stains. Not just silverware stains, turmeric, dirt and food stains just clung to the finish. At first we rotated the settings but eventually they degraded too far and we boxed them up. After a trip back to SF in March we were told by the manager to bring them in for a full replacement. It took a few months but I was able to drive the full set down from Chicago for Thanksgiving. Only this time they wouldn't offer any replacement or remedy to the ugly look of the stoneware. Alicia, the store manager's response was that "her set looks like this too". Gross!!! who wants to eat food off of stained plates? They took two full days to get back to me and eventually I left the box of plates with them because I didn't want disgusting stained stoneware. This was a total waste of money and Nambe clearly has no integrity. Spend your money elsewhere. I only wish we had better pictures. We plan to leave reviews wherever the plates are sold to prevent other buyers from experiencing the same low...

Beautiful vases, cutlery and other household items that are timelessly classic and very reasonably priced. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful - a great place to visit if you're shopping in the area and want to actually get some quality...
