Beastly Books — Local services in Santa Fe

Wow. I've been to speculative fiction genre book stores before, Mysterious Galaxy in San Diego comes to mind, but never one owned by an author, which makes the collection inside all the more fascinating. Not only is it amazingly curated but it is hyper-curated, having signed books available from many famous SF and fantasy authors. There's also a small coffee shop inside, of which I did not partake this introductory visit.

Beastly Books is an incredible vibe and a must-see shrine for any fan of George R. R. Martin. The major allure, of course, is bringing home a novel signed by Martin or one of the many other authors featured in their small yet vast selection. Being in Santa Fe, we had to stop by George RR Martin‘s bookstore in downtown. It has a nice collection of sci-fi, comics and books, and it does have Saturday cereal and TV watching, for those of us who watched Saturday cartoons.
