Disappointing experience. Let me begin by saying that on Friday, December 6, 2024, I received excellent service in person at Anthropologie in Century City and on the phone from a sales associate at Anthropologie in Canoga Park. I called Canoga Park while in the Century City looking for glasses. The glasses were sale items and were going to be final sale. The two above mentioned locations did not have the glasses that I wanted but was told that Anthropologie on 3rd Street Promanade had nine glasses. Friday night, about 30 minutes before closing, I called 3rd St., Promanade. I spoke with Donna who was very nice. She found the glasses and put them on hold for me after taking my name and phone number. I told her that I lived in Porter Ranch and would be picking them up on Saturday. Donna confirmed the glasses were on hold and would be waiting for me on Saturday. Today I go to the store and tell them Donna put glasses on hold for me. Josie told me those were put back. I asked why. She ignored my question. Josie was dismissive, rude, and didn't want to hear anything I had to say. Once again I asked why the glasses were put back if Donna agreed to hold them until end of today. I asked what would have happened if they had sold. Josie then responded it was a good thing they had not sold. An apology and explanation would have been enough and we could have moved on. Instead Josie made it seem like they were doing me a favor. I think it is obvious that I wanted the glasses since I went to pick them up at Centiry City and took time to call the Canoga Park and the 3rd Street Promenade stores. My kids are young adults and I do a lot of shopping here. I shop for my kids, friends and in this case my husband's employee. This makes me rethink where I should be spending money. Do better Anthropologie and improve your customer service. If shopping at Anthropologie don't go 3rd Street in...
Read moreI bought a ton of flatware and came to the store to do a few returns. After being helped by someone I left without realizing I didn't have a bag strong enough to carry my very expensive ceramic tray that I had decided to keep from the set. To make matters worse, I was only in store bc the online shop lost my order and I purchased it again in store while sorting out the online drama bc the Insite collection was running out quick. I approached another lady at the register before stepping out who profiled me and assumed I was lying about being a customer. Maybe the average Anthropologie shopper doesn't look like me - because sis wasn't buying it. First she asked if I had a receipt casually. Then after showing her a stack of receipts asked to look at my item which was covered in protective paper. The behavior was horrific. She treated me like a thief - trying to get away with stealing a free paper bag for a $60...

This Anthropologie location nails their window dressings and store displays that takes the concept of an aspirational lifestyle brand to the next level. It's a massive store and provides excellent fashion and layout inspiration for guests.
Their sale section is quite robust and there are often 40% off sales. They sometimes even have cider, coffee or cupcakes out for shoppers which is a lovely experience touch.
The staff is always friendly, considerate and well-appointed. I've picked up some amazing pieces here!
