I donāt know whatās with all the bad reviews, but I thought I should write and tell about my great experience selling here today! I called ahead to see how busy they were, and the nice guy over the phone suggested I download the app and then could add my name to the waitlist, which I did. I got texted when I was next in line, timing worked out perfect and when I went in I was up, waited maybe five minutes at the most. I had just deep cleaned my closet but only brought the stuff I thought they might want, Reformation, Free People, vintage, etc, two big bags full (folded nicely). The girl was super sweet and took her time with me, really looking everything over. She took a lot of my stuff and gave me pretty fair prices on most items, and I understand why she didnāt take the things she passed on (and she explained each one to me too). At the end I got over $100 which is way more honestly then I thought I would, for clothes I was just going to donate anyways. I was extremely happy with the entire process, felt they were WAY better than Buffalo Exhange, and everyone was nice and helpful there! Very satisfied customer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been selling to them for years. Sometime they buy a good amount and sometimes they don't buy any, but that's how it is and that's cool! However, today my experience was different in a bad way. The buyer started going through my first bag and found 1 piece then she asked if I want to shop around while she is going through everything. I wasn't in a shopping mood but still took a quick round and went back to the counter squickly and the buyer said she was already done going through everything and she only picked the one piece. I have done this selling thing enough times to know how much time it takes and I was weireded out that she said that. I took a look inside the bags she claimed to have checked and found the pieces exactly the way I folded them and put them in bags, so I assured she didn't look at them. It was the first time this happened to me, but I wanted to share it with other sellers and advice them to stay at the counter while selling so this won't happen to them. For buyers however it is a great place to purchase discounted and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreĀ Ā Ā Read moreGood selection and some well priced items for those looking for a bargain. I liked that it was arranged by size so I didnāt waste my time having to look at everything including what wouldnāt even fit me, like in Goodwill. The asking prices for generic low quality items eg Zara was too high in my opinion, and make sure to check items carefully; there was a top I really liked by a brand Iād never heard of but it had multiple stains and they still were asking $20. I also dislike the 3% additional charge. There was a small notice about this at the till but it wasnāt clear to me what it was for. On my receipt it said ācost of living surchargeā - I donāt quite know what that means but itās not my role as a client to fund your staffās wages if youāre not paying them enough, and if you just want to charge more in general, please be honest and incorporate that into the upfront price. As others have said, it felt sneaky. However, I am happy with the item I purchased and I also visited their West Hollywood location which had an even...
