This used to be my favorite pawn shop in the world. Recently I took a loan out on 2 apple laptops- there policy is for you to sign out of your account and they sign in to theirs. Fast forward a few weeks and when I go to login to say paypal for example not only does my information pop up, but so does 15 other accounts. Over 6000 passwords from other people- alot from pawn shop employees- i randomly had access to, but that also meant my information was out there now too. I addressed this problem once with the pawn shop and I was under the impression everything was ok. I changed my passwords and moved on. For whatever reason with the way apple is- my passwords must be getting updated for this entire group now linked together. I've had my bank account hacked into and funds stolen, my emails were being opened before I could see them, photos were being added and deleted. Literally my entire digital footprint was someones playground. I'm not saying the pawn shop did this to me directly or on purpose but their actions resulted in ruining my laptops and my iPad and my personal information being made available to countless people. Boy did I find a GEM! Pardon the pun 😂 But seriously this really is a hidden gem in Santa Monica. I wandered in and met Alex. The absolute best! Super informative and helpful. KIND. Which is unfortunately rare these days in any business. We discussed design which he was very well versed in. And he clearly articulated the process of selling your designer or rare items outright vs. their LOAN option. Which is something i had not encountered anywhere else at a place on such a high caliber and expertise. It’s an incredible option because you can still get paid out on a VERY fair contract. But not have to part with your beloved items forever. 🤍

The entire process is extremely efficient and seamless. Again. Unheard of these days. I HIGHLY recommend taking any items you are thinking about selling here FIRST. Before anywhere else.
