I felt overwhelmed at first being greeted exhuberantly the second I walked in (this is usually the second I turn around and walk back out lol!) But I took a leap and went for it- and I'm so glad I did! I was ushered over to a woman to measure me for a bra and at first I was feeling pressured by her mile-a-minute explanations but tbh my ADHD brain ended up really appreciating the speed of the process. She measured me (I'm a difficult fit- small band big cup 🙃) and showed me a couple lace bras which weren't what I was looking for at all, but when she took a second to breathe, I told her what I was actually looking and she actually listened; she even asked clarifying questions to get my exact needs clear. She then whirlwinded around the store and plucking each bra she thought might work for me, and gave a brief overview of each bra as she did. We ended in the back of the store, me holding 5-6 bras and a little dizzy from her inhuman whirlwind of bra shopping, and she did what was probably my favorite thing ever- and she LEFT ME ALONE to contemplate what she showed me! There was NO pressuring to buy, no awkwardness, no upselling. I loved that. Since fitting rooms are still covid-closed, I couldn't try them on, but I was able to hold them up/strap them over my clothes to get a better sense. I've NEVER treated myself to a full price VS bra, but I did end up really loving 2 of the bras she picked out. Because I'm a "less than privileged" person, I made myself narrow it down to 1 and took the leap to buy it. When I got home and tried it on, then wore it for a day, I was in LOVE. I couldn't believe it. The store associate absolutely nailed it 🥰 I wish I could remember her name to give her a shoutout...! I think it was a short, like 4 letter short, name that started with possibly a T? I remember thinking it was really unique and pretty! So sorry to her! She was so informative and GENUINE and seemed like she really ENJOYED her work and cared about making her customers happy. My whole experience with her was a joy, and if her manager reads this, GIVE HER A RAISE!!
Overall, it was the quickest and most efficient bra shop I've ever done and I loved not having to dig through 100 drawers for 2 hours and guess at what bra fits my specs (I'm usually wrong at that!) It was the BEST experience I've ever had at a VS and I will definitely be going back! 10/10...
Read moreMy family was visiting California like we do very often. This time it was for a 21st birthday. Visiting this particular store was the worst part of our trip.! The cashier was very disrespectful, felt very racist. Upon stepping to the counter she did not greet us like she had the two customers before us. My niece brought undergarments, this lady asked her is she needed a bag...why wouldn't she? The lady before doing a swap..she wasn't asked if she needed a bag..just given one, upon completion of transaction we also didn't get a tank you for your patience or have a nice day like the previous customers. We were the only minority family in the store. We will never shop at another Victoria secret no matter where we are visiting. We also returned our purchased items. I asked cashier for her name and she refused. I will post her cashier id when I find original receipt. If they don't like us. We don't shop there. Our money is just as good as anyone else's. We work...
Read moreThe service in this „boutique“ is really poor. We were standing in line for 15minutes. Apparently the vendors were working in slow motion. When we finally wanted to pay, they couldn‘t find the correct price for the bag (it was the last item in store and the price tag was removed). They spent additonal 10 (!) minutes to check the price and couldn‘t find it. We showed them the item on the Victoria‘s Secret website but alas they were still discussing if it was the correct itemsic Thus we left the store. Victoria‘s Secet at Santa Monica? Never ever again! You should train your vendors in a more...
