Ray's Food Center — Local services in Santa Rosa

1 of the fading 'little corner markets' remniscent of yesteryear. Nice selection of products though wish they had Knudsen cottage cheese. But ya just can't please evbody all the time as then they'd be a big store and I'd be in pain on the way out..lol I live close by and am disabled so like the convenience of being able to shop for quick ex totras if not feeling up to a big shopping trip to Target or Safeway. The service is friendly and fast. Everyone shopping there is also very friendly and courteous. They have ample disabled parking and help to the car (Thank You for that!!) Sell everything from fresh produce. To canned goods, to TV dinners. It's amazing how much variety is in this store for such a small space. Not sure if isles are wide enough for a wheelchair to make it through unencumbered but I bet if you have a list, they'd prob fetch the things you need for you. Very accommodating. They also have a great little coffee area w everything imaginable coffee and such, donuts and pasteries. I was there at supper time and it looked like the pastry bin had just been stocked w fresh goody! I've only been there a CPL times but discover something new ev time I stop in. Next,perhaps sampling that ☕ coffee... And maybe a 🍩 donut. I know Ray's has been there for years but never hurts to give a kudo where kudos are due no matter how long you've been around!! The owner is a very rude and unprofessional person. He is never friendly nor does he smile. He tends to be the main operator of the cash register /front end. No matter how pleasant you are, he is still rude. I used to come here a lot for almost 3 years. He is always the same and I have watched him scream at others and immediately kicking them out. He cleans his store hours before closing and glares/ yells at anyone who comes. He's not pleasant and he seems to be the owner or just the store manager seeing ad he is there all the time. If you need to get some snack/tobacco/alcohol, I suggest you visit the Argo Gas station 1 mile past the store. They have what you need and are...

Rays is an established mom n pop type store with a decent sized inventory & I hear very good deli food. The owners or employees are a bit cold n unfriendly some times. For example they are very controlling of the parking lot area and have shoo'd me out on several occations while making phone calls in the car. Bit i guess they get alot of weirdos hanging out that causes them to do that.
