Best experience of my life at a fast food restaurant. Devin is the man and needs some kind of promotion or official commendation.
I'm in line at the drive through late at night and see this big spider on the right side of my hood. By big, I mean, the body diameter is the size of a dime, with the walking radius of a silver dollar. The legs were over an inch. Anyways, I'm watching the spider walk rather fast from the right side of the front of the hood to the front left side of the hood. I grab a napkin from my glove box, and get out of my car to kill it. By this point, the spider is above the front left wheel making it's way toward me in an aggressive way. Alas, the car in front of me pulled up and I was next in line. Not wanting to hold up the line, I decide to let the spider live and get back in the car. I pull up to the window and am greeted by a super polite employee named Devin who seems to be in a great mood. I stick my arm out the window and point to the the car between the wheel and the side view mirror and jokingly ask Devin if he sees a rather larger spider in that area. He seems confused, and I repeat myself. He then says no, but he does see a rather large spider on top of my door where my head is. He said it is going for the gap and seems to be getting ready to surprise me. Then like an absolute baller, he askes me if I want him to take care of it. In half shock at how fast the spider had moved, the position it was taking, and Devin's willingness to solve the problem, I said yes. Like a freaking ninja Devon pounced and killed the spider.
I have never wanted to tip a fast food employee so much in my entire life.
Also, the food...
Read moreIn-N-Out isn’t just a fast-food joint—it’s a West Coast religion. I finally made the pilgrimage to this California institution, ready to see if the hype was real or just sun-soaked nostalgia in a paper hat. Spoiler: it’s real, it’s delicious, and yes, I ordered Animal Style like a seasoned disciple. The burger? A masterpiece in minimalism. The classic Double-Double is a glorious stack of fresh, never-frozen beef patties, gooey American cheese, crisp lettuce, tomatoes that taste like they knew sunshine, and that glorious In-N-Out spread (a tangy-sweet hybrid of Thousand Island and secret sauce magic). It’s not over-engineered. It doesn’t come with truffle foam or brioche buns baked by monks. It’s just right. Okay, here’s where it gets controversial: the fries are divisive. Plain, they’re a bit meh—like potatoes that just graduated basic training. BUT. Order them Animal Style (smothered in cheese, grilled onions, and spread), and suddenly they become glorious, messy, Instagram-worthy carb art. The vibe is retro, clean, and everyone’s weirdly happy. The workers wear paper hats like it’s the 1950s, and the menu is so small it could fit on a fortune cookie. But there’s a secret menu, and once you tap into it, you unlock the true In-N-Out experience. “3x3”? “Protein Style”? “Neapolitan shake”? It’s like being in a greasy little club with palm trees. Final Verdict: 4.7/5 Stars Is it overhyped? Maybe a little. Is it still one of the best fast-food burgers you’ll ever eat at 1 a.m. in a parking lot with friends? Absolutely. In-N-Out is a vibe, a taste, and a lifestyle. Just don’t forget to ask for extra napkins—and maybe bring your own ketchup if you're...
Read moreIn n out is an inexpensive and classic fast food restaurant and drive through.
I’ve always enjoyed the ambiance of this place. It reminds you of the 50’s and that’s actually the style they go for with their merchandise like T-shirts, socks, tank tops, etc. which I find really fun. The palm trees in the front of every in n out is definitely an ultimate signature and I love that because no one gets to have that and it’s known.
Food is completely overrated. The prices may be cheap, but so is the food so it doesn’t make it worth it. The burgers are dry and the fries tasted like they used old potatoes. They have limited vegetarian options, but they have lettuce wraps and grilled cheese.
They have a parking lot so there is plenty of parking. There is parking for the disabled as well as wheel chair accessibility. This is a kid friendly restaurant. If you ask them they actually give you a sticker activity.
The customer service is average. I’ve gotten both very nice people as well as people with an attitude so it all just depends which one you go too.
They’re known for being fast as well as low priced, but I care more about what I eat so although I grew up coming here I will not being going there again. Good luck to...
