WARING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I contracted CC to do over $25K worth of closets and beds for a new condo. The sales woman I worked with was great and gave me a good design that fit my needs which is why I chose them over the many other competent places in Sarasota. I do not like to waste people's time, so I only compared to one other competitor.
My install date was scheduled for June 20-23, which was 3 months after the purchase. The installers showed up everyday after 12 noon and didn't actually start working until 1pm. They drilled holes in my wall where there shouldn't be holes, showed up with incomplete materials and damaged a cabinet in my bathroom. To add insult to injury, they couldn't finish the job in those three days and left. I, the customer, had to non stop call both the Tampa and Sarasota locations to get a new install date, which at that point, was another month from when they originally came. They then scheduled me a date without checking with me and that date had to be moved to September because I was traveling.
In between the time I purchased my cabinetry and the install, my sales person quit and no one was responsive to my calls. Robin, who I believe is the sales manager, did try to make things right to some degree, by coming to my condo and putting temporary knobs on my closet system. She promised me they wouldn't need more than one day to finish the install, even though I begged her to add another day several times, in case the same situation occurred.
Fast forward to September, two guys show up expecting to set up a wood saw and cut in the middle of my living room. There was no warning or asking, but they assumed I would be ok with wood flying everywhere. We did manage to find a place to cut the wood, but when they realized they once again, didn't have the correct measurements, materials, etc, they took off like a thief in the night when I went out to run an errand for 30 minutes. They were gone by 3pm.
Fuming, I then demanded that they come back the next day to finish the job, and only by basically having a tantrum did they agree to do so.
This time, I was told the master installer and the install manager were coming to finish the job and when they left, this is what my place looked like. Crooked knobs, spackled and un-sanded and un-painted holes, sloppy work and no remorse.
I was promised by Robin, after this I would only receive "White Glove Service" (a joke to even suggested it) and she told me she would come by with her GM on Tuesday. Well, that was last week and I never even got a phone call.
I have left messages for the GM, who never bothered to call me back and even escalated it to the Corporate offices in California and STILL no response.

Read moreThe process of designing the wall of cabinets went fairly well. I felt that our consultant (Libby) took the time and effort to ensure that it would work for us and be quite functional. Installation took a long time, but we are in a Covid world.
Two issues and the poor handling of those issues by this CC location really drive a lower rating:
The quality of workmanship is simply average at best. Instead of a beam board that runs the length of the cabinets, they spliced (badly) together two boards and then used caulk to cover it up. It is just poor workmanship.
We had 2 cabinet doors that were damaged by the installers. We requested new doors, sent in pictures and heard nothing. Two additional emails and a call before we got a 6 week timeframe for new doors. What happens next is well... not good. The installers had to come out 4 times because they kept being sent out with the wrong doors. Each time meant 3 or more weeks between efforts, many emails trying to get this done. The temporary doors looked awful!
Our 'consultant' appeared to have little or no authority to get anything done. It was request after request after request to get a response.
Finally was completed more than 5 months after initial installation.
CC is expensive for what you get (we spent over $15K). The constant promises about lifetime warranty and assurances of quality should be taken with the understanding that you will have to push to be treated fairly.
The unit looks good and is functional. I now wish I had chosen to have a custom...
Read moreWe have a large closet space in a totally renovated house; however, only half of our closet was set up for clothing/shoes, etc. (the prior owners had used 2 large dressers on one blank wall and the already completed side was very nice). Their designer (Jana) came to our house on time and prepared to offer a solution. Since we did not know the manufacturer of the first half of our closet, Jana set up the new side to match it (including hardware) as closely as possible. She did a splendid job, was thoroughly professional, and the installer showed up on time, worked cleanly and quickly. In only half a day we had a completely redesigned closet so much better than before. We recommend them highly, would use them again and will recommend them to friends and family as well. A very happy experience at...
